(D.S.) Who's going to.......NOT IT!

(requested by Luninis, hope you enjoy, also pic above was made awhile ago XD it was supposed to go in the other Demon Slayer chapter, the one before the x reader but forgot to put it in so it's here now)

David pov

After the whole Ritchie nearly dying twice and me meeting Mistela twice, well Mistela decided to tag along with us, Leah and Star also joined in, so off we went.

(Time skip, cause I got no clue how to start this)

We had been traveling for quite a bit, each of us doing our own thing, Michael and Ritchie were talking, Leah Brandon and Star hit it off, and then me and Mistela. "And that's when I found Ritchie." Mistela tells me her side of the story, I nod and say "Well that sounds terrifying." she laughs and nods, "it was, but a strong demoness like myself handled it fine." I crack a small grin then realize it is silent, so i meep and that gets everyone's attention "David?" Brandon asks and I stutter out "T-T-there's no s-sound!" Everyone's guard goes up and they look frantically around. "AwE! aNd hERe i thOUgHt i'D gEt tO pLaY fOr A bIt LoNgEr......" a voice says then a potion is thrown at Mistela, I jump in front of her taking the potion to my chest, a cloud of smoke appears and then i see black.

Mistela pov

When the smoke clears, in David's place is a baby who looks like David. "HA HA HA HA! oH wHaT fUn! ThIs iS oNlY tEMPoRaRy, So GOOD LUCK!" the voice says and then all the sound returns around us. David begins to cry and my heart wrenches, "Oh David!" I cry out and pick him up, he sobs into my chest as I hold him close. "So who's going to....." Leah begins to ask "NOT IT!" everyone but Leah and myself yell, David flinches and cries harder. I glare at them and then begin calming David "Sh, Sh my little warrior, Mistela's got you." David whimpers and hugs me, I rock him slowly to sleep and kiss her head gently.

Once he's asleep I glare at the others "Don't yell around a baby!" i hiss in a whisper, they nod their eyes looking apologetic. Star walks over and uses her stave to scan David, "the potion should last about an hour or two. Until then we need to make sure he's okay, especially with his elemental magic now in the body of a baby." she says and we all nod. David meeps in his sleep and lighting strikes a nearby tree, we all deadpan at the tree, "well this is going to be fun." Brandon mutters.

(time skip)

We were all tired, having a lighting powered baby is not fun. David has been asleep the entire time thankfully so no crying fits, and he hasn't used the bathroom so that's good. It's been almost 2 hours so he should be reverting back to normal soon. I sit down and lean against a fallen tree, then i lay him on my chest, he curls up and coos happily, I smile at him. Smoke emits from him, then once it clears David is back to his normal self, he's sleeping soundly against me and everyone sighs, i kiss his head and he wraps his arms around me in his sleep. Michael whispers "i'll take first watch, everyone else rest." to which we all do.
