Brandon pov

After Cap went the stairs of the bar, which no one but me saw, everyone was drinking and having a blast then we went off to the nearby inn and stayed in it, Meliodas asked where Michael was and the bar owner said he was talking with their daughter, catching up cause apparently they were old friends, I shrugged and left with the crew back to the inn. Once there almost everyone went to bed, Ban, Meliodas, Myself, and David all stayed up and started a drunk version of truth and dare, why i was awake was a mystery, i blame Merlin for slipping something in mine and King's drink, but lucky him he has his pillow to help him sleep (activate mental glare).

"So -hic- King's runt -hic- truth or dare?" Ban asked me, "truth." i say and he snorts "youze like -hic- anyone?" i blush and nod and he laughs hard, i turn to David and ask him truth or dare, "Dare -hic-!" he says proudly and i snort "okay kiss youze crush." i slur out and he blushes red and leans forward and kisses me, my brain stops and my eyes widen. David leans back and sees my eyes and tears up then runs out the door, "DAVID!" I shout once I realize what's happened. "You should probably go check on him." Meliodas says looking at the door and I nod and jump up making a drunk beeline toward the door.

It takes me half the night to find him, he's in a park not far from the inn and I rush over to him "David!" he flinches at my voice and looks up "y-yes?" and my heart melts and i drop to my knees "gods i'm an idiot! David i didn't not like the kiss! You just caught me off guard!" he looks at me shocked and I reach forward and grab his face and kiss him. He tenses but then relaxes into the kiss, and wraps his hands around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck. We kiss until we need air and pull apart, I pant as does he and then I let out a wince as pain shoots through me, he panics "Brandon!?" I pat his arm, smiling but still wincing "I'm fine, just haven't slept since we got here." he calms a little bit but still looks worried "then let's get back to the inn to rest." I nod and he picks me up and I drift to sleep in his arms.

David pov

I feel Brandon fall asleep in my arms, I smile softly and return to the inn, Meliodas is there smiling softly "glad to see you two are okay." I nod and he hums "head on up to your room, Michael i don't think is coming back tonight." I nod and head upstairs and lay Brandon down and then try to go to my bed only to be grabbed by Brandon who mumbles something like "my pillow, like King." and i snort softly and lay beside him and then fall asleep myself.
