Bryan pov

I gasp in pain as the Rose pierce's my stomach with his sword, using my surprise to his advantage he yanks the sword out and lifts a foot and kicks me backward. I go flying back a bit, landing hard on my back. I can feel one of my wings get crushed, luckily I can tell it didn't break, nonetheless I groan in pain and my soul crystal flickers for a bit. The Rose chuckles "is that all the great Bryan can do? Pathetic, love has made you weak and if you hadn't given me up you'd be more powerful than ever!" I wince "no!" he walks toward me "i made you better, i made you perfect, you're nothing but a monster around them, i was your only friend" i try to ignore him as well at the thumping of my heart in my ears as he keeps walking, my gaze shifts and i see Ricarro standing there tears in his eyes and i take a breath before singing

"What are you willing to lose?

You cover your wounds, but underneath them

A million voices in your head that whisper, "Stop, now" "

Rose pauses and stares at me like i've grown another head "oh, really, singing about how you lived with me? How unoriginal Bryan" i grit my teeth before continuing

"Another twist of the knife, turn of the screws

It's all in your mind and it's fighting you

Arm yourself, a storm is coming

Well, kid, what you gonna do now?

It's your reflection looking back to pull you down"

The Rose laughs "are you saying i made you hate yourself!? How utterly pathetic!" but i'm not listening to him, i'm only looking at Ricarro

"So are you gonna die today or make it out alive?

You gotta conquer the monster in your head and then you'll fly

Fly, phoenix, fly

It's time for a new empire

Go bury your demons then tear down the ceiling

Phoenix, fly"

Ricarro's eyes widen and his tears stop, The Rose merely laughs "what phoenix? You mean Red? He's dead is he not? Didn't something kill that wretched little bird of Brandeen's?"

"And now you're playing with matches

Come out of the ashes underneath you"

A small fire starts at Ricarro's feet and my vision starts to blacken.

"A million voices in the crowd they're screaming, "Stop, now"

We'll let 'em swallow their pride, you're turning the tide to true believers

Got them in the palm of your hand, you're playing God now"
The Rose scoffs "what on earth are you even going on about!?" and I send Ricarro a wink

"What you gonna do now?

The Rose growls and stomps down on the crystal it slamming into my chest, making me wheeze in pain but i still continue on

"So are you gonna die today or make it out alive?

"What you gonna do now?" The rose taunts me over and over again

I gather my strength and breathe before singing loudly looking straight at the Seductive Rose

"So are you gonna die today or make it out alive?

I sing the last verse before my vision fully blackens and I see/feel/hear no more.
