Tale as Old as Time (Final)

Michael pov

For the next few days we get to know the beasts, we learn they're twin brothers, and that they both used to have types of air magic, Ritchie had lightning, while Brandon had wind. It wasn't always nice and dandy though at first they were rude and mean, that is until I got too curious about the castle, same with Lucas, so we explored for a bit and stumbled upon a room, the twins room it looked like. Inside was in ruins but in the center of it was an untouched table, a floating pocket watch time ticking downward slowly, the twins found us and grew angry, and we ran away. We got attacked by wolves and the twins saved us, but they were hurt, so we helped them, after that we made friends.

(Time skip, cause again i ran out of inspiration)

Ritchie and Brandon had just asked us to dance tonight and we accepted "Oh gods we're so dead." Lucas says from his position on the bed, "NO KIDDING!" i shout at him, pacing the room, "I don't even know how to dance!" i say throwing my hands into the air. "Well i may not be able to dance anymore but i do know that i can help you both get dressed in decent clothes to dance in." Kit says with an eye roll, we both groan and she laughs, then begins helping us find clothes to dress in, closing her eyes as we change.

(Time skip to after dance)

"Here." Ritchie hands me and Lucas a hand-held mirror, "Use it to see your families." Brandon says and we both say "Show us our families." My dad and Devin appear in the mirror while Lucas's mother appears as well, they're all in the same building talking about how to save us, my dad though is really sickly looking "dad..." I whisper and Lucas hugs me. "Go." Ritchie and Brandon order at the same time, we look up at them "what?" i ask softly, Ritchie takes my open hand and holds it staring into my eyes "Go. Go home to your family." he places my hand on the mirror, i let out a sob and hug him "thank you!" i cry out and run off Lucas right behind me.

Ritchie pov

"We did the right thing...right brother?" I ask holding my hand to my chest, watching as Michael and Lucas fade, he hugs me from behind and whispers "When you love something, you need to let it go." i nod and let out a sob.

Michael pov

We make it back home and I rush to help my father, Devin is happy to see me again and Lucas's mom is happy to see him. "How did you two escape!?" Devin asks, i smile softly "We didn't, they let us go." Lucas says. Devin and Lucas's mom's eyes go wide, dad is asleep. There's banging on our door, and I open it only to see Eden "See i told you all, Old Man Bren was just crazy, Michael is perfectly fine." he calls back to the people behind him. Men enter my home and pick up my father taking him toward the paddy wagon, "STOP!" both me and Devin shout in desperation. Eden turns to me "I could easily get your dear old daddy free but you have to marry me." i growl and say "never!" Eden glares at me then turns to the crowd "the old man is crazy! He was talking about some beasts on an island and what not, he said they had taken both Michael and Lucas but here they stand unharmed." he says boldly and i share a glance with Lucas "The beasts are real!" Lucas and I say in sync, "Oh no! It would seem that these two are also crazy." Eden says and I glare, I pull out the mirror and Lucas takes hold of it and we shout at the same time "SHOW US RITCHIE/BRANDON!" the mirror glows and out shows Ritchie and Brandon, they're both crying and hugging each other, their friends/workers are around them trying to comfort them. Eden's eyes widen as does the villagers, Eden then grabs the mirror "so these beasts are real, but that means we are no longer safe! Imagine if those things got to us!" the villagers all become angry looking, Colin though freezes and I see a certain teacup on his shoulder. "We mustn't have interruptions as we slay these monsters!" Eden shouts and then waves a hand, Lucas, his mom, Devin and myself are all thrown into the back of the wagon. Eden closes the back doors on us and we are trapped, "Well you had your chance Michael." he says and i growl at him "Die in a hole!" he glares at me and then walks off, we hear the villagers all prepare to charge the twins castle. As there are distractions we hear three sets of footsteps near the wagon and inside pops a little teacup friend "Hello Mr. Lucas and Mr. Michael!" "Inmo!" we shout and hug the little cup "What are you doing here!?" Lucas asks "Boss, sent me to watch you two, be glad I found Mario's brothers who want Mario back." i look to the back of the wagon and see the wagon's door being burned off, on the other side of the door stands Mitch, Colin and Bryan. "Hey dragon slayers." i say Mitch glares at me "you'd better get our brother back." he growls and i nod, then we take off toward the boats.

(time skip)

We get back just in time to see the workers/friends fighting with their magic and new bodies having a blast. The Dragon Brothers rush toward the battle and fight off the invaders, Mario lights up with joy and yells to them "MITCH! COLIN! BRYAN!" the three turn to see a duster waving at them and smile back. Me and Lucas rush through the crowd and rush up the stairs. We make it to a spire and see that Eden has the twins pinned to the roof, but the two aren't fighting, i look to Lucas and he looks to me, then we look at the twins and shout their names "RITCHIE/BRANDO!" the twins look over, as does Eden, and their faces light up, "you came back!?" Ritchie says happily. The two stand up and defend themselves, and the three fight. Eden is pushed back and disappears over the edge, Ritchie and Brandon rush to our sides and hug us. They pull back and there's two bangs, our eyes widen as we see red come from Ritchie and Brandon's chests, Eden laughs evilly but then slips back and falls off the roof. I rush to Ritchie's side, Lucas does the same to Brandon, and i whisper "Please, no, gods please don't go!" the twins smile at us and whisper in sync "I love you." then they fade "I love you too." me and Lucas whisper back.

There's a bright light and then there's a chiming of a clock, the castle begins to glow as well, we close our eyes due to the bright light. When we open our eyes again, there in front of us stand two men, one blue haired, the other albino haired, "Ritchie/Brandon?" me and Lucas ask and the two nod, so we shoot at them and kiss them passionately.

With this the lovely tale of beauty and the beast comes to a close, The Dragon Brothers reunited, lovers were found, all were reverted to humans once more, and the two Princes claimed their Queens for themselves, in more ways than just a ring.
