Brandon/Leo pov

The smoke begins to clear, as it does i frantically search for Ritchie, after hearing him scream my panic has risen through the roof. He's nowhere to be seen, "Ritchie!?" i call out, i get no response, i begin to hyperventilate, i feel hands on my back and i panic and jump away. "Sh, Sh, i got you Bran-I mean Leo." a male voice says, bringing me into his arms, i let out a shudder and begin sobbing into the male's chest, "There you go, let it all out, i got you." the male says rubbing my back gently. My vision clears and I see a dark red hoodie, and instantly know i'm in Lucas's arms, "are you feeling better?" He asks softly and I nod, then lean back. Twin sets of arms wrap around my body as soon as Lucas let's go, I hug them back instantly feeling the wet tears on my chest and the sobs of my little siblings, "Sh, Sh, we'll get him back." they both look up at me, tears in their eyes, Logan looks relieved, Nova looks ready to get Ritchie back. I look up to Mom and she nods, smile on her face and I know we can actually get him back.

(time skip to finding base, cause i lost inspiration for the story)

We all, Misfits, my friends, Nova, Logan, Mom, and Safe-Haven, found the base and were all ready to get back Ritchie from my dad. We enter the base and search quietly through until we hear a loud bang and rush toward the noise. We find a damaged corridor and a body under some ruble struggling, Mom shines her light at the body and it's our dad. Nova stomps over, pushes the ruble off and yanks him to his feet "WHERE'S RITCHIE!?" she shouts angry, our dad has tears in his eyes "I messed up! He's gone crazy! He was trying to destroy everything!" he says. Nova drops him like hot coal, stomps over to the other ruble in the way and begins punching it, Logan and Podrick walk over and start helping. Once the path is cleared we freeze at the sight in front of us, it's Ritchie but he looks different, "Rage mode!" I hear Xylo, Jax and Inmo whisper fearfully.

Logan pov

I look at my older brother, he is staring right at us eyes red, skin cracked foaming at the mouth, and he's growling. "R-Ritchie?" Nova asks sadly, i look at her and see tears in her eyes, she was always closer to Ritchie, while i was closer to Brandon. I turn my attention back to Ritchie, as he growls loudly, he charges us eyes red but unseeing. We all scatter and try to defend ourselves from him, "Ritchie!" those who know him scream his name at different times, trying to get him to stop being angry. "It's not working!" Inmo yells jumping back away from Ritchie's swipe, "I know! But we don't have any other ideas!" Doc yells as he tackles Charlie to make sure she isn't hurt. I get a zing-ing sensation in my head and stumble, I look over to Nova and see she is in the same position, but she's looking straight at me, 'I have to do this brother.' she thinks through our twin bond and i nod 'go for it, little sister.' i think back she cracks a grin, jumps up and charges Ritchie.

Ritchie turns to her oncoming body, and raises his hand to attack but is stopped mid swing, when Nova latches onto him in a hug. "Ritchie! PLEASE! Hear us! We're your family! Your friends! We want to help you and we miss you the real you! I miss you! Please come back...." Nova cries into his shoulder, Ritchie's eyes revert to their natural blue and he looks ashamed "N-Nova?" he whispers, then hugs her back. "I'm so sorry!" he cries out, Brandon, Mom, and myself tackle the two into a hug. Colonel Ironwood walks back into the room....when did he leave?....then pushes our Dad at our feet, "Your, Daddy dearest, has promised to reverse this curse." Colonel spits out, gun pointing at our dad's head. Mom bends down and raises her husband's face to look at her, we all see him with tears in his eyes and we all know instantly he didn't mean for any of this to happen. "I'm sorry, I made a mistake. I know you all will never forgive me, but know that, I am sorry." he whispers with tears in his eyes, Mom sighs "Blue Diablous, i love you no matter what but i am ashamed of what you did." she says, kisses his lips and stands up. "He's all yours Colonel." The Colonel picks dad up and nudges him toward the lab, Doc follows ready to get rid of this Zombie apocalypse. That's when it hits me "does that mean this is the last time we'll be alive?" i ask, everyone freezes eyes going wide, Ritchie and Nova look to each other, then to me, then to the floor, "I don't know......" Mom says tears gathering in her eyes, "NO! I JUST GOT THEM BACK! DON'T TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME AGAIN!" Brandon shouts tears spilling from his eyes. I let my tears fall and charge Brandon giving him a hug, one he gladly returns. "Please....don't take them away....." he whispers tears falling still.

Doc returns to the room, Colonel and dad follow behind, "well we have good news and bad news." Doc says "what's the bad news?" Mario asks, "We can't cure all of the zombies, there will be still a few around." Doc says and everyone looks down cast, "the good news is that those zombies are in control of themselves, if fed properly." everyone's heads shoot up in happiness, understanding what he meant. Brandon bear hugs me, then brings Ritchie and Nova into the hug and whispers "Thank goodness...you three will still be here." we hug him back just as strongly Mom comes over and kisses all of our heads.

(time skip)

It's been about 2 months since the event and we all are living lives happily. Bri and Autsin have gotten a place together, Doc and Cook-i mean Cordelia got together, and live on the Farm with Bryan. Ritchie fell in love with Michael and fights Podrick for his love often, Colonel and Bryan are a couple. Colin and Justin, or should i call him Jonah?, are together which is cute, Mom and Dad are back together and mom visits him often. Nova found love with Nick, and I found love with Mario, he's sweet plus he has a dog so BONUS! The world is going back to its normal routine, now that many have returned to normal, are back alive and well. I think as i stare over the top of Mario's truck, "I was wondering where you went off to, should have known you came up here." Mario says as he climbs onto the truck and sits beside me. I lean against his shoulder "what're you doing?" he asks i hum, and answer "just thinking about what's happened since the end of the Zombies." he hugs me from the side, "You think too much. Come on let's get down we're heading to Bryan's tonight, he invited us over for dinner with him and the Colonel, Doc and Cordelia." i hum and we get down, then i jump into the truck and he at the wheel, and we drive off toward the Farm.
