Michael pov (-_-........why has the last three chapters been from Michael's pov?)

I was in my bunker working on Podbot, er Prodrick's newest modification, so he could transform into a bike, when i realized i was going to need a specific piece i didn't have, i sigh and get up and call out to my sister, Podrick and the two idiots, "i need to go to Safehaven, anyone joining me?" Podrick and my sister jumped up and began to follow so off we went, despite it being night.

Halfway there we run into a zombie....or what we first assume is a zombie, once we get it into the light we can see that it's actually Detective Ritchie Williams, "Ritchie!?" Podrick cries out surprised, Ritchie blinks at us then backs up and growls when Podrick tries to get closer, "Ritchie? Come on, you got to calm down. Get back in control." Ritchie shakes his head and opens his mouth, a horse gravelly voice comes out "Starved......hungry.....rage.....run!" Podrick walks forward saying "Then let us help you!" Ritchie whimpers and tries to back up only to run into a wall, i pull out one of my jars that contains old brains and walk forward, Ritchie whimpers more, and i open the jar under his nose, his eyes flash red and he jumps at it and begins eating the brains out of the jar, moaning in ecstasy as he does, his moans are very distracting and i don't like how my blood seems to be pooling downward, i shake my head trying to clear my thoughts. Once Ritchie finishes his brains he sighs and croaks out "tHaNk YoU....tHe DoC-" he clears his throat "the Doc, found out about me, he locked me up and starved me for over 24 hours." Podrick looks horrified and I glare slightly, "Can someone explain?" Cordelia asks and so I explain quickly, she nods in understanding. "Cordelia take Ritchie back to the base, I have to get the piece, as well as find a certain masked person." I say all three say in sync "No!" I pout and then the four of us head to SafeHaven.

Once we arrive we find Colonel Ironwood, the Doc, and another man (i don't think Michael met Nick) conversing, all of the people who are living here behind them all looking worried or angry, but the second the main three see Ritchie, their guns are raised and Ritchie freezes. I step in front of Ritchie, despite being shorter than him, "Michael.....I thought we had a deal, I help you, you help me. So i need you to step away from the walker." The Colonel says and I glare at him, "Did you know your little doctor friend starved Ritchie here?" the Colonel doesn't twitch but I can see the other man lower his gun, "hmm, seems like at least one of the three of you has a heart." Podrick has Cordelia behind him, just as I programmed him to, protect my sister first. The Colonel and the Doc look to their third and see him with his gun lowered, this gives the bearded guy, and a white haired guy wearing a gas mask time to step over to us and stands by me blocking their view of Ritchie "Names Xylo and the guy behind me is Inmo, you?" he whispers and i whisper back "Michael." he nods and he turns to look back at the Colonel and the Doc. Said two, are growling something to the third man, who gets angry and stuffs his gun back into his gun holster and marches over to us and says "if that's the way you feel then i'd rather be on this side." the Colonel and Doc glare....well Colonel glares, can't really tell with the mask for Doc, and the Colonel says "Have it your way Nick." That's when they realize there is a group now in front of Ritchie "you'd protect that freak of nature!?" the Colonel yells, no one moves and the Doc growls "he could be our one chance to stop this madness!" still no one moves, i grin and say "we'll be taking him with us." I spin and spin Ritchie then push him out the door.

(time skip)

After returning with the group in tow, my base seems less empty and we spend a few days here, thankfully I get the piece I need, thanks to Nick. I finish up the building of the device, when I hear shouts and I step out of my lab and look down at the floor seeing Ritchie and Podrick fighting, verbally mind you, Podrick isn't one to fight physically, over something.

"I told you he's mine!" Podrick yells, "as if! He likes me more!" Ritchie yells back and I see everyone laughing at the fight and here I am confused but I listen anyway. "YOU!? A half-zombie!? Yeah right he'd totally love you! No way man he loves me after all he built me!" Podrick says and it hits me they're fighting over me, I blush and slide down and hide, still listening to their fight. "My point exactly! He thinks of you as a project he'd be proud of! Not a lover!" I blush harder and hide my face in my knees, tears springing to my eyes, 'why do they both have to fight over me!? i'm not worthy of their love....i hurt people...i can't control what i do....i'm a monster....' I think negatively about myself. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I look up and see Leo smiling softly at me, he helps me stand up and whispers in my ear "pretend to be asleep." I nod and he begins to pretend to drag me to my room "Michael?" a few people call out "He's fine just was asleep in his workshop and needs a proper bed." Leo supplies, I hear Lucas sigh and whisper "oh thank god, he's back and okay." and I know he's referring to Leo. I'm laid on my bed and Leo whispers "I'm going against everything I learned but right now you need to be alone, so sleep, deal with their love another time." I nod and drift to sleep.
