33- letting go

Jennie

"Hun.. it's been 3 days. Gising ka na. Sabi ni doc 48 hours lang pinakamatagal mong tulog. Bat di ka pa din nagigising?" I let out a deep sigh holding Lisa's free hand while crying.

"Pahinga ka muna Jen. Di ka na kumakain ng maayos, di ka pa din nagpapahinga. Ano gusto mo? Pag gising niyan ikaw naman papalit? Umayos ka nga!" Irene said behind me.

"Matigas talaga ulo niyan! Tignan mo nga pumunta magisa para i'save lang ako? Feeling darna. Hahahaha" Seulgi teased. Tinignan ko naman siya ng masama.

"But anyways. Thank you Jen. Although malabo na makaalis tayo dun, sunubukan mo pa din para lang sagipin ako. And Kung di dahil sayo, Hindi sila mapapaaga ng sugod. Sobrang thank you" Seulgi said ng malumanay then bow at me.

"Si Lisa naman talaga sumagip saten. Tignan mo nga sa sobrang dami ng ginawa niya, napagod at tatlong araw na natutulog" they chuckle pagtapos kong sabihin yun.

"At least she made her promise came true. Walang nawala muli." Rose' said in almost a cracked voice.

"Bam? What happen to Kai? Simula nung mission na yun wala na kong balita. Napuno na ni Lisa yung utak ko" tanong ko kay Bambam.

"Nung time na sabay-sabay tayong nagpaputok, General came with Major Park took a shot on Kai. Angas nga e. One shot ni General, sa ulo agad ni Kai then si Major sa puso pinatama" Bambam explained. Kaya pala apat yung putok na narinig ko pero dalawa lang yung galing Kay Kai.

"Pero Seulgs. Hanggang ngayon di pa din namin alam nangyari sayo sa kamay ni Jongin ah?" Bambam asked.

Seulgi smiled then slowly breath deep. She glanced at Irene and she nodded.

Naglabasan naman dun yung Bata nila. I have nowhere to go. Lahat sila armored. Kung lalaban ako ng time na yun, there was a 0% chance na makatakas ako. That's why I made my way to contact General by pressing number 2 on my phone inside my pocket number kase dun si Irene then number 3 si Pokpak. I know General heard everything when I called him cause I let it hang. I didn't know na susunod agad siya. And that's the time nakuha din siya ng grupo." Seulgi breathes again and closed her eyes for a second.

Of course we never tell. There's no way na makakapagsalita kami. Nilunod kame, pinaso ng sigarilyo, cutting our flesh. Pinagpasa-pasahan bugbugin. They even hang us in reverse. Akala ko di ko na Kayo makikita. Akala ko di ko na makikita si Irene. I'm only thinking about her pag nawawalan na ko ng chance. They never gave us food but I had 2 chewing gums inside my pocket na nagtawid saken sa gutom. May nakita lang din akong water bottle na may almost full pa na laman pero gamit na at yun ang iniinom ko nung tunangay nila si General at ipapalit kay Jennie. And that time Jennie and I met again in a very horrible state. Nagkaron ako ng pag-asa dahil sa kanya although we both knew na medyo malabo. But then again, you guys came and saved us." After Seulgi told us her story, our mouths went ajar. Tears coming out and we all hug her.

"Ang importante nandito ka na. Nakabalik ka" Irene said while crying. Seulgi just chuckled like the way she is. Even in a difficult situation, she will left out a smile at the end. I only saw her crying hard when Lisa got shot because of us.

"Oh my gosh! Lisa moved!" I run back to Lisa when I saw her hands moved.

"I'll call the doctor". Bambam said and run out.

"Hun? It's me."

Lisa

I see black. I can't see anything but I'm hearing voices. They were talking and some of them crying. I felt a hand on top of my hand rubbing her thumb on it but I can't move. I want to shout but I can't open my mouth. In this dark place I'm with now, nakakita ako ng puting liwanag pero maliit lang. Unti-unti siyang lumalaki habang papalapit ng papalapit saken. But when I'm about to get near at that light, a figure of a woman appeared on the other side. Nakatalikod siya. A familiar figure that makes my heart ache for a moment.

Nagdadalawang isip ako kung lalapit ako sa liwanag o dun sa babaeng nakatalikod. I want to get that light but somehow my heart misses the woman on the other side. Slowly, the woman turns her body to face me.

Jisoo

"Mahal" she said smiling at her widest. Ang saya niya tignan. Pati yung mata niya sobrang saya. Gusto ko siyang yakapin pero yung paa ko hindi ko maigalaw. I was looking down at my feet when another feet was in front of me now. I look up and saw Jisoo in front of me. Yayakapin ko sana siya pero nagsalita siya.

"Don't" Sabi niya ng nakangiti pa rin. My tears started to fall nung ilagay nya yung dalawang kamay nya sa pisngi ko. I want to touch even her hands but I can't move. I just tilt my head to feel her and I can feel her warm hands again on my cheeks.

"I miss you" I said crying. She wipes my tears with her thumb. She never let out a cry. She was just smiling at me.

"I'm happy. Please be happy too. Take care of her for me?" Sabi niya at napadilat ako. Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko at lumingon muli sa liwanag. The white light slightly became wider and I saw my friends talking with one another. I saw them all even the body lying on a white bed. May mga tusok siya sa kamay but I can't see the face. Pero one thing that made me remember everything that happened. Jennie lean her head to kiss the body on the forehead.

Jennie.
A war. Gunshots.
Seulgi and Jennie tied up.
Kai and Jackson with guns.
Kai shot me.
Kai is going to shot Jennie.
I run with my numb legs.
I push Jennie and cover her with my body.
Kai shot me twice.

I'm the body in the bed.
I'm in the hospital.
I need to wake up.

I look at Jisoo again and this time her face is smiling even wider. She is nodding her head while smiling with her teeth be seen.

"Go. She's waiting" she said happily.

"Thank you for everything" Sabi ko and this time nayakap ko siya.

"I will be the happiest for the both of you. I love you Lisa" Sabi niya at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.I let out my tears smiling at her.

"you will always be in my heart Jisoo. I love you so much" I kiss her forehead and she slowly pull away. I quickly run away while Jisoo is happily waving at me and started to blurry.
