12. That Understanding Second!

Recap: Daniel leaned up and pressed his lips against hers.

Alexa took a moment to realise what was happening before she kissed him back. "What am I doing?!?! Why am I kissing him back?" was the thought that ran through her head.

But, all this dissapeared the second Daniel deepened their kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist and he pulled her onto his lap. Alexa's hands, having a mind of their own moved up his chest, crossing his shoulders and wrapped around his neck, the other one getting tangled in his hair.

As they made out, for the first time in her life Alexa felt butterflies flapping around in her stomach, making her confused but all she could focus on was Daniel's lips that were moving against her's.

They finally pulled away for air, and Daniel had a wide smile on his face. "You kissed me back! So you like me, even it be a little" he exclaimed all happy.

"Just because I kissed you back, doesn't mean I like you. I'm practically half-drunk." said Alexa, knowing deep down in her heart that nothing she told him was true. But she wasn't going to toss her heart out like that.

"I-I wha-" said Daniel, before he cut himself off. "Lets just go home, you coming? Or are you gonna make out with another guy that you don't like?" asked Daniel, his mood switching like a switch, and gently yet roughly shoving Alexa off his lap, and then walked out.

Alexa, rolling her eyes, followed him out of the room they were in, and then caught up to Daniel. "How are we going to get home? Everyone else left and they took the car with them?" asked Alexa.

"Well you see, there's something called walking, which we can do" Daniel replied sarcastically as he walked out of the house. Alexa did the same, only to be met with cold air that blew all around her.

She shivered wrapping her arms around herself. Daniel looked at her, then said "I would give you a jacket, but I left mine in the car and the car's not here now" with his voice slightly more deep, making chills cascade down Alexa's spine, this time not from the cold.

"It's ok" she replied, before the screeching sound of tyres intrupted them. They both turned to see Henry in his posh black car, as he rolled down the tinted windows. "Hey babygirl" he said making Alexa cringe and Daniel to roll his eyes as Henry continued "Wanna ride? You don't have to walk with the looser and I'll even forget the fact that you punched me. Just make it up to me with some fun. Get in the car and we can go back to my place. What do you say?" He asked.

Daniel just looked at Alexa, knowing that he couldn't say anything consodering that she practically rejected him, again. Alexa looked at Daniel, then at Henry, before walking towards him.

She leaned down to his car height, before saying "Yah...No. Not happening. You want me to leave Daniel and come with you? Are you outta your mind? Leave an actual nice guy for a damn palyer who's gonna toss me away after he's done with me? No thanks" she said, before fake smiling sweetly at him, then walked back to Daniel, grabbed his hand and started walking forward.

"Well you're gonna come to me after a while. I'll wait" said Henry throwing a dirty glance at Daniel and then drove away. As they walked, Daniel realised she was still holding his hand, but didnt say anything to her, instead asking her "did you mean what you said? About me being better than Henry?" "Yes and I mean it" was her curt reply as they walked.

Suddenly, Daniel pulled her back, and into the shadows of the trees nearby. "What are you-" Alexa asked before being intrupted by Daniel placing his hand over her mouth and saying "Cupcake, Hush! Just watch the road." Daniel said, making Alexa frown and ask him "Cupcake?" But he just shot her a 'shut up and watch' look.

"What am I even supposed to be looking at?" Whispered Alexa, getting her answer the next second as a black van came riding down the road. She tensed up in Daniel's arms, as 2 guys got out of the car, both of whom she knew, making her eyes widen. "What happened?" Asked Daniel a bit too loudly making Alexa's eyes widen as the creepy dudes in black turned and looked their way.

She immediately turned around, and told Daniel "Just play along" and unlike last time, she kissed him and grabbed his shirt, pulling him close that he was pressed up against her. She guided his hands, making both go under her skirt.

Daniel broke away confused. I mean of course he would. She had told him less than half an hour ago that she didn't like him, and now she was pushing his hands under her skirt?

"Wha-" started Daniel but was cut off by Alexa whispering "just do it! Trust me! I'll tell you everything later. Now pick me up, press me against the tree" she said, her voice sounding demanding. Daniel, still confused, did as she asked and the moment he pressed her against the tree, his hands on her ass supporting her, she kissed him again, but there was a hidden meaning to it, one that begged him to play along with her.

Daniel saw those guys nearing, and in the split second, his mind made the connection, and he understood what she was doing. So, he pressed himself more against her, and then gently moved his hands up to her blouse that she was wearing. (Its in the previous chapter if you haven't seen it)

"Dani what-" but he said "just trust ME this time" , and pulled her blouse off, and tossed it to the side and resumed kissing her, while she was still pressed up against the tree.
