25."You NEED to know"

Daniel shuddered and tightened his grip on Alexa's hand, who rubbed his knuckles as to soothe him. Summer's eyes trailed down to Alexa's hands intertwined with Daniel's and clenched her jaw, trying to hide her anger.

"Ms.Mills! Why don't you show our new student around until she gets used to her surroundings?" Mr.Knight asked Alexa who had been visibly glaring at Summer. "Nahh" Alexa said, not even sparing a glance at the teacher in front. "Ms.Mills-" Mr.Knight started but was cut off by Alexa saying "No Jayden. I said no and it means no." She said, making the teacher roll his eyes.

"Alexa, it could add to your credits for your graduation" said Mr.Knight. "Nahh. Plus, I'm already at the top with the highest GPA. Martin told me" smirked Alexa while she felt Daniel tense up again. Mr.Knight rolled hus eyes as he moved to ask another girl the same question.

"Martin?" Daniel whispered. "You jealous Seavey?" Alexa teasing whispered back. Daniel just stuck his tongue out making Alexa giggle. "I Love only you. Ok? Plus, your hotter than Martin" said a grinning Alexa making Daniel smile.

"Lexa? Summers staring at Daniel. What do we do?" Emery whispered turning around as Alexa and Daniel were sitting at the far end. "Glare at her. I know for a fact that she's probably gonna follow us during lunch. Imma give her a show" smirked Alexa making the corner of Daniel's lips slightly tilt upwards.

After a long time of boredom, the bell rang and everyone rushed out of history. But little did Alexa know, a surprise was waiting for her at lunch.

Because, just as Alexa entered the canteen for lunch, she spotted a familar face. One that she hadn't seen in a few years, one that she didn't want to see.

"Hey babygirl! Miss me? Oh! And whos this??" The brown haired boy named Blake said, swing his arms over Alexa's shoulders. The whole cafeteria quitened down. "No Blake. I DID NOT miss you. And don't call me babygirl. How many times do I HAVE to tell you, we broke up. I'm with a different guy now and I'M HAPPY. So get lost" Alexa shoved him off her, ducking undernath his arm, and started running, past Daniel who was standing there confused, and straight to the senior hallway bathrooms.

Finding the biggest stall, Alexa locked the door and slid down, tears dripping out of her eyes. Closing her eyes, Alexa leaned back, ignoring the dirty floor as she started sobbing. When she finally got away from him, and here he was again! Alexa heard the door to the bathroom open, and she placed her hand over her mouth in an attempt to silence herself.

"Lexa? Please open up. I need to ask you something. Please Lexa" came a voice that she realised to be Jack's. Sniffling, Alexa got off the floor and opened the stall door, letting Jack in. "Lexa....How do you know Blake?" He asked her, his voice quiet. "I- I- He- He asked me out and I said yes. Then he pranked me and embaressed me in front of so many people. So I broke up with him the next day in front of the whole school. So he's been mad and is sorta like trying to win me back sorta thing." Alexa said. "Why do you wanna know?" She asked, wiping the falling tears.

"Cause I know Blake. He dated my sister once" Jack hung his head and Alexa reached up to hug him, pulling him down and he wrapped his arms around her, letting tears fall at his memories. "Is...is your sister's name Ava by any chance?" Alexa asked him and felt Jack nod.

"He told me that he last name was Stanford though.....yours is Avery" Alexa asked, confused. "My mom and dad are divorced. My mom re-married" Jack said, his voice slightly muffled due to him resting his head on her shoulder.

They both heard the door open again and froze. "Oh My Goshh! Did you see that new hunk? He's so hot!" Came a high pitched voice, that Alexa and Jack realised to be Brittany's friends. "He really is! But I think Imma stick with Daniel. Mmmm. The things he could do with his hands and fingers" Said Brittany, making Alexa clench her fists.

Jack, grabbing them, shook his head while also placing a finger to his lips, telling Alexa that she should be quiet. Meanwhile, Alexa unclenched her fists but was still fuming inside. Stuck there, Jack and Alexa listened to the words the 'popular' idiots spewed.

After a while, the fakes, as Christina convinently named them, left and both Jack and Alexa walked out of the bathroom stall they were stuck in, and breathed a sigh of relief. Suddenly the bathroom door opened again, and they heard a gasp. Standing there, was Gabbie. "Why is Jack in the girls bathroom? And we were searching for you both! Why were you guys here??" Asked a confused Gabbie as she shot a text to everyone else saying that the 2 missing people were in the bathroom.

"Let everyone else come. I'll explain. And tell Tate to get her make up bag." sighed Alexa. In the next 5 minutes, the rest of the gang, who had been searching all over, had assembled in the girls bathroom, and as weird as it was for the boys, they weren't in the mood to care. Daniel had been the first one in, and had run so fast towards Alexa, almost knocking her over as he hugged her. "Oh my god! I was so worried" he had breathed as he burried his head in Alexa's neck.

Grabbing Tate's make up bag, Alexa began removing her make up while explaining, then putting make up on her face again, as it had been destroyed while she had cried, considering she had convinently ran out of waterproof mascara that day.

After Alexa's explanation of what actually happened, the gang left to go to their respective classes, all except Daniel and Alexa. "Baby...." Daniel started off. "Yah?" Alexa said as she brushed her eyelashes with Tate's quick dry and waterproof mascara. "Alexa look at me" Daniel said making Alexa turn around.

"What?" She asked and Daniel moved them so that she was pinned against the sinks with Daniel in front of her. "Dani! I need to finish my makeup!" Alexa said trying to push him away but he refused to buldge.

"You NEED to know, that I WILL protect you from that asshole. I don't even care about the she-devil but you need to know that I Love You and I will do anything to keep you safe" said Daniel as Alexa nodded pulling him closer (if that was even possible) and hugging him tightly as Daniel wrapped his arms around her waist as he pressed his lips to her head

Suddenly, the bathroom door slammed open and 2 people stumbled in. And the couple at the sinks froze. For there, were the devils themselves, Summer and Blake.

Probably Jonah since we have so much in common. But it WOULD be cool to have the others as a soulmate too. But I'm legit sitting here and I haven't even met them😕
