33.Blood

recap: right after 3 loud gunshot sounds

"Daniel!" Alexa screamed, pushing away Jonah and running towards her boyfriend and hugging him, while Daniel stared at the body on the floor, which had blood oozing out of the bullet wound. He wrapped his arms around Alexa, his bicep slightly bleeding from the second bullet that had just grazed him, due to it having gone haywire, its shooter shot right in the head.

Alexa fell to her knees beside Blake. "Thank you" she croaked at the fallen boy, who lay there with his Blood pooled around him as Kay ran over, grabbing his hand with Martin's tshirt on her. "Why?" Kay sobbed. "Why are you leaving me?" she sobbed and Blake let a tear slip from his eyes. 

"Alexa deserves to be happy. Go live your life girly. I have tortured you too much. Kay, go live with aunt Cheri. She'll love you like her own" Blake spoke, letting his eyes close and Kay sobbed harder as he took his final breath. "Rest In Peace Blake. Wish you were still here" Alexa whispered, pressing her lips to his forehead as she got up and walked backwards, Daniel hugging her and pulling her close as she buried her head in his neck.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed her mum and Carson helping her dad up, while two policemen carried a dead Jayden out. Another policeman lead a handcuffed Summer out while Martin held a crying Kay in his arms. Their eyes, that is Alexa and Martin's, met and Martin shot her a silent look of sorry and thanks to which all Alexa did was nod. 

An hour later, the gang found themselves exiting the hospital, Alexa having been prescribed rehydration solutions while Daniel had been instructed to change his bandages twice a day for a week, by which the doctors estimated the wound would be healed.

"I am so glad you're ok" Christina said, pulling Alexa into a hug once they walked into their house and the other girls nodded, joining the hug. And for the next hour, the gang of 10 spent their time explaining what had happened, how Daniel had been annoyed with them thinking that they didn't want to save her.

 "What actually happened was Daniel didn't let Tate finish speaking. She was going to say that the police had said so and we weren't gonna listen but oh my god, your boyfriend began raging war at us" Jack groaned and Alexa chuckled, cuddling further into a blushing Daniel. 

"If she had started with the police said so and so, I wouldn't have blown up" Daniel mumbled and Alexa giggled, kissing his cheek. The doorbell rang and Emery and Zach both looked at each other, then ran towards the door. "THE FOOD IS MINE" Emery screamed grabbing the chipotle bags from the delivery man, who visibly got scared, and ran back in leaving Zach to pay.

"Atta girl" Gabbie screamed, hi-fi-ing (idk if thats a word. just imagine so) Emery as the split the food evenly, Zach coming back in the middle, grumbling about how his wallet was practically empty, much to the laughter to everyone else.

"I missed you. A lot" Daniel spoke later in bed, where Alexa and Daniel lay curled up beside each other. "I missed you too. I love you" Alexa said, snuggling further and Daniel kissed the top of her head, mumbling a "Love you too" back.

And for the first time in months since they had met each other, Everyone was happy and relaxed. 

But would it last?

short chapter, I know (Its only 600 words...) but

I have a quick, fast forwarding chapter coming up next and then the final chapter, so 2 more left then.

I'll stop ranting and go and work on the next chapter, yaa... (TBD hit 1k, like bitch 2 heart attacks at the same time, Wattpad's tryna kill me-)
