A/N: Hi, don't feel like you need to be a silent reader. I love hearing from everyone. Comment with kindness.

O - O - O

Niobe sat beside Steve on the way to Sokovia. She felt drained, but she could not leave them to fight alone.

"Wanda and Pietro," Steve said. "Get the people out of the city."

They both nodded. Pietro dashed off throughout the city warning citizens. Wanda's hands glowed, leaking an airy red stream to manipulate the cities mind's to evacuate.

"Ultron knows we're coming

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out," Steve said over the comms.

Niobe called her lightsaber to her hand, watching crowds of Sokovians pass by.

"All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right," Steve said.

Niobe watched Steve in awe. Above them, Tony flew, monitoring the evacuation and searching for Ultron.

"I'm gonna borrow E.T. for a moment," Tony said.

He flew to Niobe and picked her off the ground. Steve looked ready to protest, but Tony was already gone.

Niobe watched people run from the city as the flew overhead. They headed towards what Tony called a church. The center of Sokovia.

"Come to confess your sins?" Ultron said.

"I don't know, how much time you got?" Tony asked.

"More than you," Ultron said. "Niobe, however, will always have a spot at my side. She does not even belong here."

"I may not belong," she said, "but at least I am not imposing my will on innocent people."

The robot stood from his seat. He had grown in size. The Jedi was pushing his temper to an edge.

"Uhhh. Have you been juicing? A little Vibranium cocktail? You're looking, I don't wanna say, puffy..." Tony asked.

"You're stalling to protect the people," Ultron said.

"Well, that is the mission. Did you forget?" Tony asked.

"I've moved beyond your mission. I'm free," Ultron said.

Suddenly the Vibranium core Ultron placed beneath the floor erupts.

"What, you think you're the only one stalling?" Ultron asked.

Niobe ignited her blade. She took a stance while Tony calculated the best course of action.

"This is how you end, Tony. This is peace in my time," Ultron said.

Ultron's army of robots began appearing throughout the city attacking while the public still evacuated. Niobe shoved Ultron back through a wall. Tony remained, consulting with FRIDAY.

"This is not your fight, I don't want to hurt you, Niobe," Ultron said.

"Good, this will be easy then," she said.

She spun her blade with her wrist, brought the blade above her head and slammed into Ultron. His arm stopped the attack leaving the blade to burn into the metal. Ultron swung his arm into Niobe's unprotected side, sending her to the ground. She was certain she felt a crack in her side.

"Ultron," Vision said.

"My Vision. They really did take everything from me," Ultron said.

Niobe stood, readying herself for another attack

Niobe stood, readying herself for another attack.

"You set the terms, you can change them," Vision said.

"Alright," Ultron said.

Tony took to the sky, leaving her and Vision with Ultron. Niobe watched as Ultron flew into Vision, knocking him to the ground where she could reach him. Niobe hit Ultron's weak spots and Vision took on a frontal assault, holding Ultron in place for Niobe's hits. Vision grabbed onto Ultron's head, sending a beam of light onto Ultron. Niobe stepped back. Over the comms, she heard Tony speaking with FRIDAY.

"FRIDAY! The Vision?" Tony asked.

"Boss, it's working. He's burning Ultron out of the net, he won't escape through there," FRIDAY said.

Ultron shoved Vision away, catching Niobe's attention.

"You shut me out! You think I care? You take away my world, I take away yours," Ultron said.

Ultron activated the Vibranium core and the earth around Sokovia started to shake and break.

"FRIDAY?" Tony asked.

"Sokovia's going for a ride," FRIDAY said.

Niobe stumbled. The ground was shaking too hard for her to strike Ultron.

"Do you see? The beauty of it, the inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You, Avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal," Ultron said.

"Not on my watch," Niobe said.

Ultron turned in time to see Niobe flying through the air towards him, blade bearing down. Vision shot a beam at Ultron's back as Niobe landed. She left a molten slice across his chest. She dodged Ultron's hits and as the pressure from Visions beam built up, Ultron turned his back to the Jedi.

She aimed for joints that were easier to break. As she came close to melting a joint in his arm lose, Ultron turned around, grabbed the Jedi by the throat and flew into the air. Niobe did not lose her grip on her lightsaber this time. Instead, she turned off the blade and used the force to lock the blade onto her belt.

"You truly are quite amazing, my dear," Ultron said. "I hate to do this."

Niobe concentrated on the force and focused on Ultron's head. She began crushing the metal inwards. Ultron screamed and dropped Niobe before rushing after her. He wanted her to live. Niobe cushioned her fall and as Ultron attempted to grab her again, Vision's beam hit Ultron pushing him off the side of the rising city.
