"Oh my love, can't you see that you're on my mind"
•-•

I watched cartoons with Michael and Elizabeth in the living room.

Well, I wasn't watching the TV.

I was glaring at the man that sat on the opposite end of the couch. He just stared back.

Elizabeth must've noticed my look towards her father.

"Y/n, do you not like daddy?" She asked in her usual innocent voice.

"..I guess you could say that, Liz." I said, glancing at the small child.

"That's not very nice, Y/n." Will said with a shit eating grin on his face.

"Why do you not like him?" Elizabeth asked.

"Well, lets just say he did something that made me very upset."

Elizabeth glared at her father. "You need to apologize." Liz said, taking my side. I smiled at this.

He looked back at me. "I guess I should apologize, huh?" He smiled at me.

"I, William Afton, a married man with two children, am sorry for what I've done to cause you to be upset." He put his hand out to shake.

  I looked at it.

  "Now forgive him!" Elizabeth said.

I internally sighed. "I, Y/n L/n, High School garbage, forgive you." I said, basically being forced to by Elizabeth.

I shook his hand and quickly withdrew my hand, not wanting to make contact with him any longer than a few seconds.

Elizabeth seemed satisfied with her work.

Michael didn't say anything while this happened. He just continued watching cartoons.

A knock soon came at the door

   I got up to answer.

Henry stood before me.

"Hey!" He greeted and hugged me. "Ready to go? Charlie and Sammy are excited to see you."

Henry set his keys down on the kitchen table.

"Hey Henry, when's my mom coming back from her trip?" I asked.

Henry seems to have tensed up at the mention of my mother.

"..Henry tell me she's still alive. Tell me she's doing okay."

"She passed away due to a horrible stroke a few hours ago."

Henry walked over and hugged me tightly.

I didn't know how to feel.

Charlie walked in. "Why is Y/n sad?" She asked.

"Well, her mother  just passed away and it makes her very upset."

The small child hugged me, attempting to make me feel better.

"Thank you, Charlie."

I looked up at Henry. "Thank you, too."

He nodded, smiling.
