"Even at my best of times, I'm out of my
mind"

I thought about what William had previously said to me outside.

I was just debating on whether or not to actually go or not. Mainly because it could either go 'well' or go really south.

There's no in between.

I didn't really want to snoop on any conversations going on in Henry's office but after I had remembered they were going over the plans William had previously made, curiosity got the better of me.

I stood next to the door of Henry's office, trying to listen in. Unlike William's, Henry's office door was quite thin.

"Will.. I'm.. not too sure about these designs.. They aren't our usual design route.."
    I made a mental note.

Henry's skeptical about the designs.

"What? I just wanted to try something new. Plus, I quite like them. I think the kids will, too."

    I heard Henry sigh heavily.

"Listen.. I.. I'm just not too on board with these, okay?"

I heard a series of raised voices.

I heard footsteps approaching the door so I quickly, but quietly moved towards the stage. I acted like I was observing the animatronics.

When I heard the door open, I turned around to see who had left. William had his gaze already on me. His poker face unsettled me. I couldn't read him at all. Not that I usually would be able to, but it still makes me feel uncomfortable.

His gaze shifted off of me when he returned to his office.

Damn. Mr. Child Murderer seems bummed out.

Of course I didn't give a shit about how he felt, It just unsettles me.

I slid into Henry's office. "Hey- oh shit- bad time?" I asked after I realized Henry looked upset.

He shook his head. "Just a small argument, that's all." He said simply.

I walked over to his desk and hugged him tightly. "I'm sure it'll be alright. I don't know what happened but I'm sure he'll get over it."

I hated lying to Henry. But, I can't let him know I was eavesdropping. He sighed. "Yeah.. his plans weren't really my cup of tea." I looked over at what he was doing. Blueprints.

"What's this?"

"We've been getting countless complaints about the smells and a few health code violations so I'm just working on a few designs."
