Chapter 63

Rav's Pov

As we waited for Keil to return I finished my second cup of tea. "So why do you drink memory tea?" Maka asked looking at me sheepishly.

"My brain was severely damaged when I died and I only have fragments of what my childhood was like expect being a vocaloid. I even struggle with my more recent memory. It took me far too long to remember the names of all the students I teach and I'm struggling with my German." I answered. "The tea helps or atleast I think it helps and thats what's important."

"Helps your mood anyway." Eren smirked looking at me. "German also isn't that easy to learn Rav I mean it's not English but hey tell me one language that's harder than English."

"Haritish." Jace laughed walking in. "The constant use of six different alphabets and images makes it near impossible to translate into modern tonuges. Keil said someone is attempting to poison us."

"Levi fortunately found out before any of use drank the tainted tea then Kitana thought it would be a great idea to test out her toxin resisitance." Kid stated making Jace nod in thought.

"That would explain why Keil grabbed me and not Mor." He sighed before grabbing his mug from earlier and smelling it. "Ah Arsenic. Who's mug was this?"

"Kitana's." Rav said looking up.

"Yeah she's going to need some sleep after that and possibly some charcoal to help her out." He stated putting the mug down. "I'll start checking everything in a minute but first Kid can you introduce me to your friends? Who all looked shocked."

"Jace you look like an older version of Levi and Rav this is also the first time they are really seeing you." Kid explained looking at his now older brother. "The video that was shot awhile back didn't reall show off your face properly."

"Oh that would explain it." Jace chuckled. "Oh it would be good fun to get the three girls out here to show how similar they look but Kit Kat is in Russia and Kitana is suffering from arsenic poisoning." 

"Another time Jace but anyway moving around the table next to Liz is Maka, then Soul, Black Star and Tsubaki." Kid said introducing everyone to Jace who nodded in understanding before he ruffled Kids hair and walked off.

"Still odd to see him without his mask." Eren sighed resting his head in a hand looking at me as I raised a brow.

"Says the one who screamed when they saw Lady Life without her mask. You are also married to a version of that face." I stated as Eren smirked.

"I married the hot version and also did you see the scar she's covering?! I swear she should be dead." Eren asked looking at me.

"What scar?" Soul asked raising a brow.

"Mor has a scar that takes up 30% of her face and 45% of her neck on the left side and Eren that scar is a death mark. Reapers don't lose their death marks after they come back to life." Kyle answered walking in.

"Wow Soul answering your own question. You're so smart." I sarcastically remarked making eren laugh.

"What gave Mor a scar that big?" Maka asked frowning in thought. 

"Jace was it a Mortor or a shell?" Kyle shouted.

"That did what?!" Jace shouted back from the kitchen.

"Mor's face!" Kyle called.

"Oh that was a tank shell. Poor thing had just come back to life only to have it taken again." Jace sighed as he walked in.

"What about a tank shell?" Soul gasped looking at the older males who both shrugged.

"Morana got hit in the face with a tank shell that was going full tilt. I think the worst part about it was that none of us were there for her when she rose from the dead." Jace explained crossing his arms over his chest.

"Kit knew the second it happened. She was telling me the whole time that something was wrong and that she needed to go to her sister but I told her it would be abandoning her post before we were separated." Kyle stated before shaking his head. "Twins a bond closer than  any formed."

"True. Why are you all asking about Mor's scar?" Jace asked frowning.

"Oh Eren and Rav were teasing eachother and then Eren mentioned Morana's scar. I completely forgot that my friends have no idea what scars my sister carry and they started asking about it." Kid shrugged as Jace nodded. 

"Very well then. I will get back to checking for poisions." He said before turning to leave.

"Wait Sir. You said it made sense that Kyle grabbed you instead of Morana. Why?" Tsubaki asked making Jace freeze for a moment.

"Oh that's easy. I'm over 1000 years old. No toxin and no combination of toxins can harm me. Mor's only 824 she can still get sick from them. I can also smell toxins in foods instead of needing to eat them. Reapers get more sensitive with toxins as we age. Kid your father's tolerance is stronger than mine but not insanely so." He explained before turning to Kid who nodded.

"Father can sense reapers metal in the room and tell you how strong it is." Kid stated.

"So can I. To be fair Kit was not going to use her sister to test the metal on and Keil is human." Jace sighed before looking at Kyle. "I need to check everything in the manor for toxins to protect the youngsters. I have found some clean tea so Eren if you want to make some tea for everyone. Keil can you please get Hanji and Armin away from the lab for ten minutes."

"I'll try to get them." Kyle sighed before walking out. 

"That would be great Lord Phoenix." Eren smiled getting up and walking into the kitchen. 

"Stop calling me Lord Phoenix in the house it makes me feel so old." Jace groaned throwing his head back.

"Jace you are old. Deal with it." Kid stated with a smirk making Jace groan louder.

"Now my brother in law is against me. Kid for the love of all immortals. Mor and I didn't know the truth until after we were married." He whined before leaving.

"What?" I asked looking at Kid who gave me a confused look.

"Your guess is as good as mine I have no idea what he is talking about." Kid explained as Eren walked back in with new tea cups.

"The milk and sugar are safe. So now we are just waiting for the water to boil." He chuckled. "Rav do you think Kit will want some tea right now? I'm making some for Levi." 

"Yeah she will. I think she is milk and two." I frowned in thought.

"Milk with one is what she said earlier." Maka said as I nodded slowly before sighing.

"I have too many important things to remember if it's one or two sugars for my sister but I know she likes the sugar to help with the taint from metal pots." I shrugged before getting up to help Eren. "Do you need a hand uncle?"

"Please stop with the uncle thing we have lived together for nearly 5 years I am closer to being your brother than your uncle. It also makes me feel old and I am younger than you." He pouted making me laugh.

"By three months." I  chuckled before walking over to him. "Come on I'll help you."

"Ok." Eren pouted as he walked back out.
