Chapter 42

Levi's Pov

We did tell Lady Phoenix to shock us and I know that she made the teachers see it. "Eren where?" I ask finally able to stand without needing to vomit.

"How the hell should I know? We don't know this area!" Eren screamed at me and rightly so I didn't tell him that Lady Phoenix was pretending to be my niece he really thinks that Kitana is my niece. "The more important thing is how did Rivalle start the ash trail?"

"Those two together can use powers forgotten by the clan. I doubt that Lady phoenix remembers how to use them." I sigh walking over to him as Death the Kid opened the door free of his glamor.

"They would be heading to the manor. They would be after Kasie and then somewhere that allows them to forget their past. Somewhere safe." He said looking at the burnt seals on the floor. 

"Eren. You told them a safe place. I told you to tell them. I told you to tell them of somewhere that my family didn't know about." I snarled and Eren shrugged.

"You also ordered me to never tell you for as long as I shall live." He sighed. Turning away from me as I walked up to him snarling.

"Take me to my family now." I growled and the reaper shook his head.

"You won't find them. I struggle to find Kitana when she is in the house and I am a meister. You two are weapons they want to remain hidden let them come back to us." He explained. "I can take you to the manor my sisters told me to care for you two they also said that they will find Rivalle and Kitana."

"Fine." I growl when someone clears their throat behind me and Eren turns to look at them.

"You will not mention what any of you saw to anyone out side this room. We broke Kitana by mistake give her the courtesy of ignorance. You saw nothing you know nothing." He ordered and Kid rolled his eyes.

"I bought Kitana here. She knew that I was in the room." A blue man said and I dropped my head.

"She may run from you or she may kill you. Apologize to her the second you see her. Tell her that we told you to bring her here and you didn't know the rest." I filled in when the doctor piped up.

"What horrors does your clan believe in? Rape? Torture?.." He started and Eren snapped.

"That is not what we believe. When the clan found out about the beating they transferred the children and investigated the matter! There were protocols in place since they are heirs to the Phoenix crown and their parents were protected. Their parents abused their rights and their mother lost their life to Kitana and we are trying to track down their father. Surprisingly it is hard to track people who can disappear like that." He snapped clicking his fingers to amplify his point.  

"Eren don't waste your breath this lot don't understand and won't try to. You know that the outside world hates us and will never understand. In the mean time we can help Lady Phoenix with hunting down Nile and hopefully get Kitana's and Rivalle's forgiveness soon." I said before turning to the reaper and nodding. He simply turned around and walked away leading Eren and I out.

Rivalle's Pov

After getting to the manor I ran and grabbed Kasie before returning to Lady Phoenix who still lay on the ground panting. The golden eye is very harsh and even though her sister perfected it on her it still makes it hard to move or do anything for a good 20 minutes. Grabbing her arm as Kasie clung to me and started the ash trail and we went to the safe village in the Netherlands landing on a demolished building. "What happened to you two?" Maka asked walking up to us and I frowned looking at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked and Lady Phoenix stood up and grabbed my wrist causing a prickly sensation to wash over me.

"You two look like you went through hell." Soul said standing with a camera. "You have bruising on your neck Rivalle."
