I looked outside the window of the transport, waiting for it to land on the senate landing dock. Obi-Wan and I successfully rescued the chancellor, while killing Count Dooku in the process. But I don't care about all that. All I care about right now is getting to wrap (y/n) in my arms and show her how much I love and missed her.
After briefing the senators on the chancellor's rescue, I made my way over to the temple to try and find (y/n). I attempted to contact her via commlink, but she didn't respond. Ah, the council is probably in session right now. I'll just wait in her chambers until the meeting is over.
I opened the door to her chambers and everything was gone. Everything. All of her personal belongings were nowhere in sight. Something is wrong.
I reached out with the force to try and communicate with her, but she's not responding. I can feel that she's alive, but it's like our bond has been severed. What is going on?
"Anakin?"
I whipped my head around and saw Obi-Wan standing in the doorway. How did he know I would be here?
"I'm guessing you are wondering where (y/n) is?"
I nodded, trying to maintain my composure.
He sighed, "She's been expelled, Anakin."
No, that's impossible. No Jedi followed the code as closely as (y/n) had. What could she have possibly done to get herself expelled?
Oh no.
Did they find out about us?
"Expelled?" I replied as calmly as I could, "What happened?"
"Apparently, they found a note that she wrote to her secret lover, which they think is another Jedi at the temple. They asked her to reveal their identity to avoid expulsion, but she would not tell them the truth. So, they expelled her." He paused. "I'm sorry Anakin, I know you two were very close friends."
He has no idea.
"Did they say what happened to her after she got expelled?" I asked.
"Not really. All they told me is that she's been taken to an undisclosed location that is so top secret, only Master Windu knows where she is."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Did Master Windu do something to her that caused our bond to be cut off? The only way that could happen is if he cut off her connection to the force.
...
What the hell did he do to my wife?
I felt the anger start to rise within me.
"I am so sorry Anakin, but I must go prepare for another mission. The council has instructed me to take down General Grevious. We think we know where he is hiding."
"Let me guess, the council doesn't want me to go with you." I scoffed.
"Yes. You are right old friend. Please use this time off to relax and clear your mind. You've earned it. But please Anakin, don't go looking for her. Doing so may result in your expulsion as well."
With a sad smile, Obi-Wan turned and left (y/n)'s quarters. Leaving me all alone, surrounded by emptiness and hopelessness.
That emptiness and hopelessness soon turned into pure rage. I shut the door angrily with the force and buried my face in my hands. I couldn't let them split us up like this. I couldn't even fathom trying to live my life without her. And don't even get me started on Master Windu. He did something to her. He did something that caused our bond to break, and the fact that she hasn't found another way to contact me yet, worries me.
God I hope she's okay.
UGH!
Did they expect me to just move on and forget that she had ever existed? I can't do it. I won't!
I had to find out where Master Windu took her, but I knew he wouldn't tell me willingly.
I am going to need some help.

Later that day:
"I'd like to see the chancellor."
"Very well Master Jedi, I will see if he is in."
His assistant went back into the Chancellor's office to inform him of my presence, which only made my impatience grow.
Fuck it.
I walked straight into the chancellor's office and saw the chancellor at his desk. His assistant was now running at me.
"Sir, sir, you were supposed to wait outside!"
"Anakin?"
The chancellor spun his chair around and made eye contact with me. He knew something was wrong.
"Demorius, let him come in. Anakin is a good friend of mine."
His assistant shot me a death glare and rushed back out to the front desk.
"I'm sorry about Demorius's behavior. He's new." The Chancellor paused. "Please, sit down Anakin. Tell me what is troubling you."
I sat down at his desk, took a deep breath, and told him everything that I knew.
