2005
We had been staying at the hotel for about two weeks now and mommy still had no contact with Toni. We barely left the room and when we did it was only to go get food because Joey wouldn't. I was laying in my bed when mom came in the room.
"Hey baby I have to go to the studio for a while I'll be back." I sat up against the headboard. "Can I go? I'm tired of being in this hotel I'm bored." She chuckled at me and shook her head.
"You don't wanna go it's going to be even worse then being stuck in here."
"I promise you it won't and it's going to give me a reason to finally listen to your music, since you won't let me listen to it."
"That's for a reason you might be old enough but still I can't have you looking at me weird, but if you really wanna go you can." I jumped out of bed and put my shoes on. "Let's go then."
"Let me run to the bathroom and I'll be down at the car." She walked out of my room and I walked down to her car. My phone stared ringing and it was Travis.
"Hey baby, what are you doing?"
"Hey trav I'm in going with my mother somewhere, what are you doing later today?"
"Hopefully you." I busted out laughing. "Travis shut up seriously what are you doing?"
"I'm not doing anything later but I hope to meet your mother really soon." I rolled my eyes and leaned against the car. "No I don't think I want you to meet her you might try to steal her."
"Why would I do that?" He asked laughing. "Because I know you and once you see her all bets are off."
"She must have a nice ass body." I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to hang up now and I won't be seeing you later have a nice day Travis." I looked over and mommy was walking over to the car.
"Wait babe" I cut him off. "No you just turned me off good bye." I hung up the phone and walked over to the passengers side. "What's up with your face? Looks like someone pissed you off."
"No I'm okay I'll be better when we actually get to the studio." We we're listening to the radio until she turned it down to ask me a question. "You said you dance right."
"Yeah dancing is literally my life, I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't dance anymore." She smiled at my admiration for dance. "I put you in dance class as soon as you could walk I didn't want you to be a singer at all."
"Why not?"
"It's too many of us combined in the family someone had to be different don't you think?"
"But your brother sings and dances and you said you do too." She pulled at her ear and hesitated to speak. "It's a shame you really don't know who I am. I'm not trying to be cocky or anything but damn I must not being doing enough."
