Tonight is the night of the premiere of For colored Girls and I am beyond excited. This is going to probably be my last movie and this was one of the most difficult roles that I have ever had to play.
I was taking Toni and Justice with me tonight and I was happy for them both to see the work that I had did but also the casts work because they were phenomenal.
"Okay baby I'm ready." Toni said coming from out of our room.
"Damn!" I said biting my lip and walking over to her. "You look good as shit T we might have to stay home."
"Uh uh I wanna see who your love interest was and what happened for you to come home every night bugging me and the kids."
"Oh you'll see why." I said scratching my neck. "Justice! Come on we're going to be late, we can't be late to this!"
"I know I know that's why i'm here and i'm ready." She said walking out of the room and ready to go.
"Like mother like daughter." I said admiring the woman our daughter has become.
"I know we are some hot bitches aren't we?!"
"Justice language." She rolled her eyes and led us out of the apartment. "Come on we have somewhere to be."

I was beyond excited to watch this film because I was a huge fan of the book and I had the opportunity to see the play when I was younger, and the fact that my baby was in it made it more special to me.
"Ma." Justice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah?"
"You talk to mama kat today?" I knew that she would be constantly asking me about Kobi when she had already called and checked on her five times already.
"Yes and so have you they are all fine I assure you, after tonight we will be back with them so just chill out."
"Whatever I just wanna see this movie that mom claims is so good."
