We all just got back from an early breakfast and decided it would be a great idea to all take naps. It was around twelve thirty in the afternoon meaning that the twins would not be so accepting to the idea of a nap. Toni, Justice, and Kobi on the other hand were already sleep.
"How about I sing to you guys?" I asked as they jumped up and down on their bed.
"Can you please mommy!" Kori asked flopping down on the bed.
"Yeah sing uncle Mike!"
"Yeah please mommy we haven't seen him in so long."
"I know I miss him too." I don't know why but all of my kids have asked about him and they're making me feel bad. Me his baby sister whose to busy with her own life can't even make time to check to make sure he's okay during the biggest time in his career.
"What do you guys wanna hear?"
"Butterflies! No! Ain't no sunshine!" Kamden screamed out. "You guys are so old." I said laughing.
"No we not we four." Kori said confused.
"That's not what I meant baby, I'll sing Gone too soon."
"That's too sad momma no!" Kamden said laying across my legs. "But it's one of my favorites."
"Okay mommy." Kori said laying on my shoulder. "You sing that one."

By the time I was finished they were sleep. I slid Kori off of my shoulder and then Kamden off my legs and walked out of their room into mine. As soon as I was about to lay down my phone rang that was in the living room.
"Hey-"
"Janet have you spoken to your family?" My assistant cut me off immediately with the question.
"No I haven't why?"
"Your brother was just taken to the hospital it's all over CNN." My world slowed down and I asked the only questioned that mattered.
"A-are- is he okay?" She didn't give me an answer just silence so I hung up the phone and ran into my room. I must've startled Toni because she jumped up.
"Baby are you okay?" She asked kicking her legs to the side of the bed. "I don't know yet."
"What?" Before I could answer Justice walked in the room.
"My phone is blowing up with notifications and- and phone calls, is it true? Have you spoken to anyone?"
"No I haven't." Justice started looking for our remote and when she finally found it Toni asked what was happening.
"What's going on guys you're scaring me." The tv turned on and it was literally on every channel even if it wasn't a news station.
Breaking News! Micheal Jackson was rushed to the hospital. He was taken to UCLA Hospital with cardiac arrest at fifty years old. The family attorney for the Jacksons said according to Randy Jackson, Micheal collapsed in his home this morning. Multiple sources are saying he's in a coma.
"JANET CALL YOUR MOTHER OR- OR LATOYA SOMEONE!" Toni shouted while standing and rushing to pack our bags.
"I'll call she's in shock." Justice said calling her aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
"Give me a second please- just give me a second." I said turning down the tv.
"Janet honey I love you I do but you don't have a second, time waits for no one. Please baby just call.... now."
"Fine." I grabbed my phone and called Jermaine first and he picked up immediately.
"Janet he's at the hospital I'm like five minutes out everyone else except Toya's there you on your way?"
"No I'm in New York I'm not coming out there until you can confirm something is wrong, it could be a broken arm or foot nothing to serious right?" I asked wishing it was that simple.
"Janet it's bad and you know it just stop denying it and get here I'll call you if anything serious happens before you touch down."
"Jermaine-" Dial tone is all I heard, "Fuck!"
"What'd he say?" Toni asked still packing our bags. "Just keep packing I'll call in twenty minutes to see what happened."
"Okay, baby." She called out while I was walking to the twins room. "Yes?"
"I love you, you know that right?"
"Yes, I love you too." I couldn't wait twenty minutes, so I called back and he didn't answer. I called everyone and the last person I called answered, Latoya.
"What's happening?"
"He uh he died Janet at 2:26." I looked over at the clock on the wall and it was 2:30.
"And no one called to tell me that?"
"Janet we-"
"No no I'm all the way in the other side of the world and the only one not there you guys should've stayed on the phone with me or at least answered my calls!"
"Janet stop talking! I'm not going to argue with you just get here now please."
"Ma is it true?" I couldn't respond and I'm guessing Justice took that as a yes and ran over to me pulling me into a hug.
