Snow White remained dead for days. The Hobbits began coming arrangements to bury her, but Frodo's grieve overtook him.

He laid the princess on his bed and wept over her during those days, refusing to leave her side. He blamed himself for the princess's death because he promised he'd save her, but couldn't.

As he watched over Snow White, Sam came into the room and sat next to him.

"How are you feeling, Mr. Frodo?" He asked.

Frodo turned to his beloved friend.

"I can't do it Sam. I can't bury her. She's too beautiful, as if she were living. I can't bare with it."

Sam pressed his hand on Frodo's shoulder.

"It's alright, Mr. Frodo. I can't bare with it either."

When he said that, Sam started weeping, then drowned into sobs.

Frodo wrapped his arms around him and comforted him.

"I can't bare this loss, Mr. Frodo! I can't! She's so beautiful!"

"I know, Sam. I know."

He kissed lightly on the side of his head, and continued to hug him as they mourned for the princess.

Seeing Sam's sorrow made his pain worsen. Even the thought of Snow being put in the ground scarred him, not being able to see her sweet and innocent face anymore.

"Sam, you can't let them bury Snow!" He cried. "Please tell them not to! I can't deal with it!"

"Bilbo understands your pain." Sam replied. "He won't let you if you wish not to. We'll put her in the garden, surround her with flowers, and she'll be seen by everyone. I will make sure of that."

Frodo looked to his dear friend.

"Will uncle be okay with that?"

"Of course he will, and he might as well have to."

The Hobbit looked back down to the princess, as she lay motionless on the bed.

"I want all of Hobbiton to know how we lost Snow White."

Frodo took out the poisoned apple from his pocket, and put in Snow's hands.

"Once they see that apple, they'll get the message."

He looked back to Sam, who nodded.

"I agree, Mr. Frodo."

Frodo and Sam went to Merry, Pippin, Bilbo, and Rosie, and told them about what they wanted to do for the princess.

And they agreed.

The next day, Snow White was laid to rest in the Bag End garden, surrounded by the flowers that Sam planted, where she could be seen by everyone.

Even the apple was shown, so when they'd see her, they'd know what happened to her.

Frodo continued to stay by Snow's side, and never left her alone.
