Since the story is over, I thought I'd add a little twist to the original ending.

What if Snow White didn't bite into the apple?

Enjoy!

After saying goodbye to Snow White, the Hobbits made their way across the Brandywine River to work.

Things seemed to be well for everyone, but Frodo started not feeling himself. He barely did any of his work, and he had major anxiety.

As he worked, Sam took notice and came to his side.

"What's the matter, Mr. Frodo?"

"I'm worried, Sam. What if we come home and Snow isn't able to be saved?"

"Don't worry, Mr. Frodo. Snow has learned her lesson. She won't be hurt anymore."

"Do you know what I told her last night?" Frodo asked. "I told her that I'd rather die than see the queen kill her."

Hearing his dear master's words made his heart sink deeply.

"Mr. Frodo, I hope you ain't serious."

During the conversation, the Hobbits saw a Hobbit woman walking across the Brandywine River. They quickly took notice of her and went to look.

"Who is that?" Merry asked.

"I don't know." Frodo said. "I've never seen her before."

Bilbo took a close look at the woman.

"Frodo, my lad, I have some strange feeling that woman is tied with the queen in some way."

The Hobbit could not ignore his uncle's warning. Frodo got to his feet, dropping all of his work utilities.

"I must know for myself. For my dear Snow."

The Hobbit ran off across the Brandywine River, getting back to Bag End.

Sam didn't understand what Frodo's intentions were, but when he saw that he was gone, he became worried and and started following him.

When Frodo arrived, he saw the woman standing at the window of Bag End, holding up a basket of something to Snow White.

He called to her.

"Snow!"

When the princess saw him, she called to him.

"Frodo!"

The woman turned around and saw the Hobbit. He ran up and stood in between her and the girl.

"Get away from her, or the worst it'll be for you!"

"What are you going to do to me?"

Frodo had never harmed anyone physically, even after what happened in Mordor.

He was powerless.

"You really think you're going to stop me?"

"What were you going to do to her?"

The woman took out the poisoned apple from the basket and showed it to Frodo, which caused his fear to come true.

"Did you know that apples stand for health and wisdom?"

"Then why do I get the feeling that one might kill her?" Frodo asked.

"It won't kill her, but what it will do is far worse. Her beauty will decay, and she live the rest of her life as an ugly Hobbit."
