Later that night, the owners of the house came home. They were the Hobbits of Bag End, who worked everyday by the Brandywine River.

The leader was Bilbo Baggins; the owner of Bag End, his nephew; Frodo Baggins, Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took, Rosie Cotton, and Samwise Gamgee, son of Hamfast Gamgee.

When they returned home, they were shocked to find everything not as they have left it

When they returned home, they were shocked to find everything not as they have left it.

"Someone has sat in my chair!" Bilbo cried. "No one is allowed to sit here!"

"We know, uncle!" Frodo replied.

He noticed Bilbo's study as been ransacked.

"Uncle, someone has looked through your books in the study!"

"They did not!"

"Someone stole the dishes from the kitchen!" Rosie cried.

Merry and Pippin came running out from the dining room.

"Someone has ate our food!"

Sam ran out from the bedroom.

"Someone is sleeping in your bed, Mr. Frodo."

Hearing his reply, Frodo and everyone came running in, only to find the little princess sleeping in the bed.

"Who is that, Mr. Frodo?" Sam asked.

"It's a beautiful child." He replied.

"She must be very sleepy." Pippin said.

"Quiet!" Merry shouted.

"Shhhh!" Bilbo said. "Let her sleep, and we'll talk to her in the morning."

The Hobbits left the girl to sleep, and since Frodo had no bed to sleep on, he decided to sleep with Sam.

The next morning, Snow White woke up the Hobbits all surrounding her.

"My goodness!" She cried. "You're not children, you're little people!"

"We are Hobbits of the Shire." Frodo said. "You're in Bag End, our little Hobbit hole."

"What are your names?" The princess asked.

"Frodo Baggins is my name, and this is my uncle, Bilbo Baggins."

"Hello." He said.

"I'm Meriadoc Brandybuck!" Merry said. "And this is my best friend, Peregrin Took."

Pippin smiled and waved.

"Hello!"

Rosie curtsied before the beautiful little girl.

"My name is Rosie Cotton."

Lastly, Sam gave a gesturing grin.

"I am Samwise Gamgee, son of Hamfast Gamgee."

The princess waved to all of them, smiling.

"It is nice to meet you all, I am Snow White, princess of Myriam."

When the Hobbits heard that she was a princess, they immediately bowed before her.

"We are honored to have a princess in Bag End." Bilbo said. "But we must ask how you found my home."

"Uncle!" Frodo cried. "Don't be rude!"

Snow White chuckled.

"Oh, it's fine. I was sent here by my stepmother, the queen, because she is jealous of my beauty. She sent me through a portal which let me into the Shire. I was lost for a while, until I found this place. No one was home, so I let myself in. I ate a little bit of food from each plate, then I cleaned up and fell asleep on this bed."

"My, that is such a sad story." Frodo said.

"My gaffer would always cry when he heard stories like that." Sam said.

"It pains me to hear your story." Rosie said.

"I appreciate you guys's sympathizes, and I apologize for coming into your home without your permission."

"It's no trouble at all." Bilbo said.

"I suppose you'll need a place to stay if you're hiding from the queen?" Frodo said.

The princess nodded.

"Yes."

"Well, if you cook and clean for us, wash our clothes, and help keep the house tidy while we're gone, you can stay with us for as long as you wish."

"And you won't have to ask for anything in return." Merry said.

"We're keep you safe from the queen." Pippin added.

"Oh yes!" Snow White replied. "With all my heart!"

The Hobbits joined in a group hug, happily rejoicing over the princess being their new member in the house.

From that day on, Snow White lived with the Hobbits, and was very happy with them.

She was finally safe from the queen.

But not for long.
