Jax Teller was feeling all kinds of irritated. He was the Vice President of his father's motorcycle club, the Sons of Anarchy, and it had its ups and downs. And right now he was smack dab in the middle of a down. A huge fucking down.

It was just last night, as Jax was at the gas station buying a pack of condoms and smokes, when an explosion caught his attention.

Come to find out this morning, the warehouse that his club, SAMCRO, used to house the M4s and glocks that they were selling to a rival gang in Oakland, the One-Niners, had been blown up by another rival gangs of theirs. The goddamn Mayans.

As Clay, Jax's stepfather and current club President, went to try to explain what happened to the Niners leader, Laroy, and to buy the club some extra time, Jax was trying to deal with the other down in his life. His goddamn ex wife.

It was two years ago when Jax had married Breyanna Jackson, the daughter of a long time friend of the Sons. But Jax couldn't keep his dick in his pants, and she had trouble putting the needle down.

Jax pushed for a divorce four months ago after Breyanna had caught him with yet another croweater. She agreed to the divorce, but not before springing on him that she was eight weeks pregnant with his child.

That freaked Jax out, as he was not ready to be a father. So, he disappeared from her for weeks. It wasn't until almost two months ago that she texted him that they were having a boy and what she wanted to name him. Feeling a bit guilty for ghosting her, he texted her back, letting her know where to send the doctor bills.

Of course, Breyanna never responded, and whenever Jax tried to call her, to get any updates, she'd send him straight to voicemail.

Sighing in frustration, Jax lit up a joint, as he tried to explain to Chibs, a fellow patched member, what was going on with the warehouse and the Niners. His phone started to ring in his pocket. He was kind of hoping that it was his ex finally returning his calls, but it was just his mother. He quickly handed the joint off to Chibs and then answered his phone.

"Hey, ma."

"Hey, baby." His mother's voice sounded on the other end. "Did you go to the storage?"

Jax released a deep breath. "Not yet." He knew his mother was excited about this new arrival.

"I'm really hoping that there's something you could use. I haven't exactly looked through that baby stuff in years."

"I'm sure anything would help." Jax told his mother.

"Are you still coming to dinner tomorrow night? I'm picking up steaks from the German."

"Oh, you know it." Jax smiled at the sound of that. He loved his mother's cooking.

"You should bring Chibs and that new kid."
