A/N Sorry this took so long. I tried really hard to write Cedric in Character but he is still pretty OOC so sorry about that. But here is finally some fluff for you guys!!

Cedrics POV
Merlin's mushrooms. This is not how I expected this day to go.

Just a few hours prior

"Mr Cedric? I need your help with something."

Looking up from my workbench, I sigh softly. "You wouldn't be here if you didn't now would you?" Closing the book I was reading, I look up and meet the eyes of the eager princess Sofia. "What can I do for you?"

She smiles, and holds up a piece of parchment. "We have to learn a new spell for our test tomorrow, but I can't get it right. Can you teach me?"

I let out a  long sigh. I'd rather be reading, but she did come all this way. "I supposed I could spare you some time. What spell is it this time?" I take the parchment from her hand and unfurled it.  "Evanesco? That's just a simple disappearance spell, isn't it? How on earth are you having trouble with such a easy spell." I rolled my eyes as I handed the paper back to her.

"I can cast the spell alright, but not on the target I want to hit," Sofia explained, looking slightly hurt by my words. I felt a slight twing of guilt. It's not her fault the king has so little faith in me that I was reduced to a tutor. I suppose I shouldn't be so harsh.

"Well, I supposed for a beginner its only natural for you to struggle." I turned and grabbed a paperweight off my desk. "Its not like I am busy anyway." Grabbing a stool, I place the rock upon it and gesture for her to cast. "Aim for this paperweight and cast the spell. Its probably a lack of focus so make sure you concentrate."

Sofia smiled wide, and egarley turned to focus on the item. Her brows furrowed in concentration, and she raised her wand. "Evanesco!"

A bolt of light shot out from the tip of her wand, and rushed towards the paperweight. However, just before it hit the rock, the light curved, and rushed at me instead. I looked down to see that the spell, had vanished my necktie, but thankfully did not hit my skin.

"Oh no! Mr. Cedric! I am so sorry!" Sofia rushed over to me, her face full of concern as she peered up at me.

"Its alright, but you need to be more careful," I scolded. "You need to keep your focus on the target of the spell until it dissapears, otherwise you'll change target. You could hurt someone." I frown, and rub my neck. That was a new necktie too.

"I'm sorry Mr. Cedric. I wont do it ag-" Sofia paused in the middle of her sentence. "Mr Cedric, whats that on your neck?"

I froze. Merlins mushrooms. I forgot about that stupid mark. Quickly, I slap my hand against the spot where Sofia was looking. "Its nothing. Forget about it." I turned away, my face burning in embarrassment. "I forgot about the mark how do I play this off whERE IS MY STUPID BACK UP NECKTIE!" Keeping one hand firmly planted on my neck I started furiously rummaging through the clutter on my desk

Confused and concerned, Sofia chased after me. "Whats the matter?! Did the magic bruis your skin? I'm so sorry let me fix it!" Sofia grabbed my arm and forced it away from my neck.

"No don't!" I shouted, but it was too late. Sofia back away, a little smirk growing on her face.

"Mr. Cedric! Is that a mark?!" Sofia's eyes were glowing, and I shuddered. I was not about to let a ten-year-old grill me on my failed love life. I swiftly grabbed her by her shoulders, and spun her around.

"This is none of your business and I swear if you tell this to anyone I will never help you with anything again, got it?" I hissed. She looked back up at me, unfazed. Curse the bravery of this stupid princess.
