Huffing, you roll your eyes and readjust in your chair. Cedric was sitting across the room from you, completely engrossed in whatever spell book he was reading. You had been trying to get his attention by addressing him by ridiculous nicknames, but he wasn't biting. Bored, you turn upside-down in the chair and stare at your lover. Guess its time to get more ridiculous. 

"Snookums?"

No response.

"Love nugget!"

His eye twitched. Guess he doesn't like that one. 

"Darlington?"

Nothing again? Fine. Last resort it is. Narrowing your eyes, you lower your voice as low as it can go. 

"Sugar tits."

"(Y/N)!?" Cedric yelped, flustered. 

Success. Cedric slammed his book shut and turned his face away, but you could see his ears burning red. Laughing, You roll off you chair and traipse over behind him. flinging your arms around his shoulders, you bury your face in his shoulder. "You weren't paying attention to meeee" You whined. Cedric sighed, and moved the heavy spell book off of his lap. 

"Come here," he grumbled. Smiling wide, you crawl into his lap and snuggle in. You lean your head against his chest, and giggle. Despite his annoyed appearance, Cedric's heart was pounding loudly in your ear. You feel his arms wrap around you, trapping you close. 

"Love you Ceddy."

"Love you too (Y/N)."
