I felt my heart thump against the walls of my chest in a loud, violent beat as I finally heard the soft click of the door. Silent footsteps slowly making their way towards me as I shifted nervously, sitting practically on the edge of the bed, waiting for the man to finally come to me. I had probably run through a hundred different scenarios of how Kong would react come Saturday. The things he would question. The responses I would stammer through. Would he forgive me? Or would this be the last time I would ever enter this room again?

And if I actually had the guts to tell Kite that I was back in this bedroom I am pretty sure he would descend down in front of me this very second to whoop my ass cause the count has probably easily reached a million of the number of times he has warned me to stay away from his clearly pissed boss. And honestly, if I had any more than two functioning brain cells I would have probably listened to him. I don't even know what I was doing here waiting for the man who obviously spent weeks ignoring me, but here we are.

Suddenly getting snatched out of my musings I felt warm fingers tenderly trace the silk cloth wrapped around my eyes, and just as his particular scent wafted through my senses, I heard his quiet whisper.

"Why do you still have the blindfold on?"

And instant shiver ran down my spine just at the thought of him standing in front of me once again like he had so many times before.

"I hoped if I pretended I didn't know anything, you could perhaps go back to pretending too?"

Was my groveling as obvious as it sounded to my ears?

I guess it must have been cause I all heard was a soft sigh from him as fingertips continued grazing over my covered eyes. I had absolutely no idea what the man was thinking but it couldn't really be that bad if he was still lightly caressing the side of my face right?

And just as that thought crossed my mind I felt the cloth ripped off my face as a firm hand gripped my chin as he forced my face upward to look straight into his piercing gaze.

"Unfortunately I am not into playing mind games. So instead of pretending, you are going to be answering a whole lot of questions."

"Do I get to ask some of mine too?"

I don't know where I find the courage to challenge the man who could literally destroy me ten times over but somehow with Kong I always did. His own eyebrows shooting up at my question, a small smirk dancing around the corner of his mouth as he brushed his thumb against my lower lip.

"Fine. But only if you comply with all my commands."

"Commands? What do you want me to do?"

"You will find out soon enough."

Continuing his streak of confusing me he simply turned away from me and settled down on the large armchair, crossing one leg over the other, while he kept his gaze unwaveringly on my face.

"So you are not with the company? I am assuming you have never been with them at all."

"N...no, I haven't"

His expressions still completely unreadable as he gave the tiniest of a nod to acknowledge my answer.

"How did you find out?"

"I will tell you if you take that shirt off first."

"What?"

"I want you to take off your top. And then I will answer your question."

"Seriously? Now?"

"Yes, now. I still have you for the night, correct?"

I have a feeling understanding the man was something that I wasn't going to achieve anytime soon. So instead I raised my hands to pop open the first shirt button. And then the second. Still working on the third when his husky voices echoed within the silent room once more.
