"We the jury, in the case of Dlamini versus Henderson, find the defendant, Joshua Henderson guilty of attempted murder in the second degree he will be serving 13 years, guilty of sexual abuse in the first degree and will be serving 23 years due to the damage done to Amala, and lastly guilty of abduction in the first degree and will be serving 20 years. This all adds up to a 56 year sentence. You are also being fined ten thousand dollars. That and any other money will go to Amala's hospital bills" The jury says
i just sit there shocked that i overcame this
"BABY! WE DID IT. NO YOU DID IT!!" billie yells while picking me up and spinning me around. i start laughing.
"kiss me baby" i command
billie puts me down and grabs my waist and smashes her lips into mine, both of us not caring about the people watching. I start crying tears of joy because i'm so happy that the fucking ass hole got what he deserved.
"i love you so much billie" i whisper in her ear "but i need to sit cause it hurts"
"awe, party pooper" billie pouts
"This case has been adjourned" the judge says and smiles sweetly at me and billie
i look over at joshua and flip him off because i can't do anything else.
"let's get the fuck outta here babygirl" billie says
"wait go slow, it really hurts" i whine
"i told you that you should have accepted the damn wheel chair mama" billie says and she walks over to me and picks me up. she walks to the courtroom doors and kicks them open
i smile at her. i don't think this lady could get anymore perfect.
"what're you looking at ma?" billie asks
"your beautiful self" i say and kiss her cheek "walk faster, i wanna go to the hotel" i smirk at her and she walks out of the courthouse
"soft bitch" she says and laughs
i roll my eyes and laugh with her. "only for you"
she sets me down then opens the car door for me. she goes to the driver side and gets in. she starts driving and she places her hand on my thigh.
We eventually arrive at the hotel and we both get out of the car and start walking to our room. As we are walking down the hall i feel billie looking at me.
"Do you need something?" i ask
"I need to ask you a question" i nod my head for her to continue "When are we gonna go back to school?"
"Uhm, i'm not going back" i say and she unlocks the door
"Why?" she simply asks and then we sit down on the bed that meets us right when we walk in
"because i feel like it's a waste of time and i just don't want to"
"you've come this far though, so why not just finish these last 3 years with me" she states
"billie, no matter how hard you try and convince me, i am not going back. i will fly back to the ship in a helicopter, eventually, and get my things." i say
"fine then, i hope you know that i am finishing these last 3 years" she stares at me in the eyes
"i will go back to LA and wait for you" i reply
"you shouldn't wait for me amala, that's 3 years of long distance-"

"billie shut the fuck up, i'm going to wait for you whether you like it or not. we are in a relationship and i am committed all the way. i love you so i will wait for you no matter how long it takes. as cheesy as it sounds i'll wait for you for forever if it's what it takes to be with you in the end"
