Wednesday
This is it. today’s the day, Luna thought as she stares at her ceiling. Surprisingly, she woke up earlier than expected. She stood up and went towards her closet to pick out an outfit to wear before prepping up for the wedding later tonight. “good morning moonlight” Adrien greeted. “good morning love” Luna greeted back. “ready for your big day?” he asked. “totally. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I will be taking a shower” she answered before walking in her bathroom with the clothes she picked out. After some time, Luna steps out of the bathroom and walks downstairs and into the dining room. “good morning Luna” her father greeted as she sits down. “good morning father” she answers coldly. “after breakfast, we will be checking out the wedding venue” her stepmother mentioned as they eat. Luna just nodded and continued eating.
Like what Luna’s mother said, they left their house after eating breakfast to go to the wedding venue. “the venue will be in a forest. Everything has been placed. The tables, chairs and other things” Mary explained as she drives. “why did you choose the forest as the venue of my wedding?” Luna asked suspiciously. “because I wanted to” Mary answered, making Luna roll her eyes. “the area looks nice. Trust me, Luna. You’ll love how it looks” her father said, defending Mary. “sure” Luna bluntly said.
After some time, they finally arrived at the said forest. They followed a path made with different sorts of flower petals. As they reached the actual area where the wedding will be happening, Luna couldn’t bring herself to admit out loud that it looks stunning. “you like it?” her father asked as he sees her looking around the place. “it’s alright” Luna lied, trying not to look amazed. “there will be securities in each corner. Just in case some crazy people try to ruin your big day” Mary explained. Luna considered Mary’s statement as she looks at every detail. She notices red marks on some of the trees. That’s probably where the guards will be, Luna thought. She counted the marks and made sure that she remembers it. “May I know what our guards will look like?” Luna asked Mary. “why?” Mary asked back. “I just want to know how prepared they will be if ever there’ll be any trespassers later” Luna faked an excuse. Mary squinted her eyes at Luna before calling someone out loud. “William” Mary called out. An armored man walked beside Mary and faced Luna. “he is the head of the guards. What he is wearing right now and the weapons he has is exactly what every guard will be wearing and having later” Mary explained. Luna nodded and walked towards the man to examine him. She memorized every weapon the man has and what he is wearing. “alright. Can we go back home? I want to prep my face and everything. I would like to look stunning for my big day after all” Luna said. Mary and John nodded and walked ahead. Luna follows behind.
As soon as they arrived home, Luna rushed to her room and locked her door. “Is anyone listening?” she whispered, hoping that someone can hear her from the other line of the earpiece. “I’m here, what’s up?” Adrien said. “okay, I’m going to tell you every detail of the venue, so, better listen up” Luna started. “okay” Adrien answered. “as soon as you and Kelly enter the venue, look for the red marks on the trees. Guards will be standing next to those trees. And from what I counted earlier, there is approximately 15 guards surrounding the area” Luna explained. “the guards will be wearing a typical army uniform when in battle, which means it will be easy for us to take them down” she explains further. “now, what I need you to do is tell Ace that we need 30 agents to take down the guards. There should be a back-up waiting in a van in case some other mafia group attends the wedding. I also need you to cover our vans’ plate numbers. We can’t risk getting caught by one of Mary’s people” she instructed. “okay, I literally wrote that down on a Starbucks receipt” Adrien said after letting Luna explain. They both chuckled at what Adrien said. “you are such a doofus” Luna said. “I’m your doofus” Adrien mentioned. “damn right you are” Luna replied. “anyway. I’m going to have a home spa. I’ll see you later” Luna said before walking in her bathroom. She starts to fill in her bathtub and looks for the bath-bomb one of her maids got for her. once she found it, she carefully places it in the water in the bathtub and lets it dissolve. She then picks up one of her facemasks from beside her sink and places it on a small table beside the bathtub. She strips off her clothes and steps in the bathtub. She lays down and relaxes on her position before grabbing her facemask and opens the pack. She puts the mask on her face and starts to relax.
After about two hours, Luna steps out of her bathtub and wrapped her body with a towel. She walks out of the bathroom and towards her closet to get her undergarments. Before walking back to the bathroom, she looked at her wall clock and saw that it was only 4:30 in the afternoon. I still have time to get ready then, she thought and walked back to the bathroom to wear her undergarments. She then wore her robe and wrapped her hair with the towel before walking towards the bathroom counter where her make-up was placed and started doing her make-up.
After an hour, she walks out of the bathroom and towards her bed where her wedding dress is neatly placed. One of the maids probably took the dress out of the box for me, she thought as she picks up the dress to examine in one last time before laying it back down on the bed. She walks towards the door and locks it before walking towards her closet where all her weapons are hidden. “let’s do this” she said out loud before grabbing the black bag with her weapons and gears in it. she then secures her weapons in every strap the jumpsuit has and pulls down the dress to hide it. she then places her blades under her heels before walking towards her mirror to check if her jumpsuit was obvious under the dress and fortunately it wasn’t. she smiles widely before neatly putting her hair in a bun.
“Luna, are you there?” Adrien asked through the earpiece. “yeah. I was just about to walk out of my room, why?” Luna responded. “I’m currently in the venue and saw the marks you told me. there are two vans near the venue but are hidden, me and Kelly are seated on the second row as you told us and the other agents that will be fighting as well are hidden somewhere in the forest but are near enough to run where the fight will be” he explained. “how did our agents get in easily?” Luna asked. “we have our ways. Anyway, are you ready?” he asked. “I’m always ready” she answered before walking out of her room.
