Heavy hands brace against
Her billowing breast, tearing,
Ripping, cold air against flushed
Skin, deep breaths in shallow ears.Water falls in crystals of ice against
Pale cheeks, pink and rose while
Fingers grip tighter and tighter
Air leaving lungs with no hope of return. Now freezing but not from the air,
He leaves her there, light
Flickering overhead, dries tears
Never to be wiped away again.
