Bright hues of orange and yellow
Drape the bed as sunlight streams
Through sheer curtains
A girl sleeps soundly

Unaware, a buzz fills the air
Hazy thoughts swirl as she comes to
Fear strikes her chest
As it hovers in her face

Leaving in a rush, no thinking
Just acting as she slams the door
Such a small thing makes her so fearful
All she could do was run
