Leaves of red and yellow
Drift on lazy wind
Swirling through the air
Reaching their new home
Warm breaths turn to cold chills
As the days tick down
Until a new year breaks
And the countdown begins again
Fall weather like no other
Light sweaters over leggings
Kicking up fallen leaves
Smiles linger on the breeze
