"Nick.. Hey Nick wake up" said a smooth voice in a low tune, a voice on a normal day I'd recognize from all the 6 billion people voices.
"C'mon baby you're gonna be late for school" said again the same voice but I still couldn't figure out whose voice that was.
"Isn't he up yet?!" Said another deep deep voice. "Nick wake up! You're mom has been waking you up for almost half an hour now!" Said the deep voice in a high angry tune upon which I woke up standing up straight like a marine soldier because I knew it was my dad's voice and if I stayed another moment in that bed it wouldn't have been a pretty scene.Nickolas Owen, that's me I'm about 6.0 feet, white regular guy, with straight black hair and dark brown eyes, I used to do tons of sports when I was a kid and now I play soccer and go to the gym, so you can say I'm pretty much in shape.
"Good morning my love" said the smooth voice which was obviously my mom's voice.
She was the most kind, caring woman in the whole world.
"Good morning, ma" I said rubbing my eyes.
"Good morning, pops!" I said out loud so that he could hear me.
"I'm right here! No need to shout you idiot!" Dad said. I laughed and mom joined me because we both know how grumpy he is on early mornings.
"Alright honey don't be so grumpy, I'll make you some breakfast" mom said to dad.
"Fine Martha, but make it quick I'm hungry!"
"James Owen! Don't you dare be bossy on me!" Mom said glaring at dad
"What?" Dad said "I'm just hungry, you know how I am when I'm hungry" dad said smiling after realizing he'll never eat again if he made her angry
I just bursted out laughing when I saw them arguing like kids or newly weds.
"Aww, you both are so cute together" I said laughing.
"You're just jealous because you're a 17 year old guy who's still single and can't find a girl who likes you"
"Woah dad, slow down there you have no idea how many girls I have in my life, they're so much that I can't remember all of their names" I said.
"Bullshit, I know you better than you know yourself. The only girl that ever talks to you is Sophie" dad said proudly thinking he knew all about my life. And he wasn't all wrong actually, you can say he was half right and half wrong: he was right that Sophie is really the girl that talk to the most, but that wasn't because she was the only one, it was because it was my best friend I talked to her about every second of the day, not talking of course but chatting, texting and that sort of stuff.
Sophie Stone, she was about 5.5, white, brown-haired,with light brown eyes, funny, beautiful girl. She was three years junior to me, she was my best friend, sort of consultant and sometimes therapist as she always listen to me when I'm feeling down or worried about something. The reason why dad knew her all so well is because both our families were friends.
"Please dad, don't get so cocky on me, I know you never got a shot with any girl except ma" I said thinking that would get him off my back and I was right.
"I never wanted a chance with anyone except your mom, she's my one and only" dad said
I know he knew she was listening, he's such a pro in these romantic stuff
"I heard that!" Said mom from the kitchen then she came and kissed dad.
"Ewww! Not in front of me you too! Get a room! You've been married for 20 years now surely this sweet talking must've gone old" I said pretending that I'm disgusted while actually that was pretty damn cute.
"Old is gold my love, you need to know that. And that sweet talking you're making fun of is what made me fall in love with your father in the first place, and it's what kept us going throughout the years, every time we argued or fought he always found a way make me fall for him all over again" said mom smiling at dad.
We finished breakfast and dad went off to work and so did mom, I got dressed and ran down the street to catch the school bus as it was a habit of mine to catch it running and the driver got used to it because I'm always late.
I got on the bus looking for my buddies and I saw Joe sitting in the left corner of the bus with his headphones in his ears like he always did.
"HEY JOE!!" I shouted smacking him on his head.
"WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?! I just woke up and I didn't have any breakfast and I already wanna crash this whole fuckin bus into a tree so chill" Joe said angrily.Josef Aimes, my childhood best friend, I've known him forever, he's my gym partner, soccer partner. We did everything together, literally everything. He's about 5.9, white guy, with big goggles, dark eyes and curly black hair. He's the kindest and most loyal friend you can ever have.
"My bad man, have you seen Chris?" I said laughing.
"Yeah, he's in the front with his girl" said Joe yawning.
"Alright bro, sorry about that keep on doing whatever you were doing" I said.
There I found Chris with his girlfriend Nora, and they were fighting (as usual), these two never stop fighting and when I try to work things out between them I always get disappointed because they fight over some trivial shit that even a toddler would cry about.Anyways, Christopher Garfield, also my bestfriend, cousin, and like half brother to me. He's about 5.9, white, he had brown eyes and curly black hair. Like Joe had the best heart and slightly more than joe we had a lot of memories together being related and all that shit.
"Wooohoo, love birds! Am I interrupting?" I said sarcastically and hoping to lighten up the mood a little.
"Seriously man your timing is shit! Come back another time" said Chris and I could clearly see that he was really annoyed this time so I nodded and took my seat again next to Joe and waited till we reach school.
