I ran down that hall like it was never gonna end. I slammed open the surgery room just as they were injecting the sleeping medicine into links hand. I watched the Orange liquid seep into his hand. No. I ran over to them to try to stop them. Nurse pulled me back. I screamed as loud as I could. Tears spilled everywhere. I watched link close his eyes. "NO LINK!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I forced my body as hard as I could to get past the nurses. I watched him fall asleep. No no no. I didn't know what to do. That's it. He's gonna die and it's gonna be my fault. If I stopped the nurse he will survive. I cried the most I've ever. The nurses slammed to door shut on my face. I bashed my hands against it to tell them to let me in. I watched them pull metal equipment out. They started. It's too late. I dropped to the ground on my back. I slumped down against the surgery door. I screamed and bawled my eyes out. I saw my mother and Rhett ran towards me. They pulled me into a hug when they realised what's happening. "I I know l links don't g gonna make it" I said between about a hundred tears. "Oh sweetie" my mother said leaning her head on me. Rhett and my mother hugged me tight for ages. I don't know what I'd do without link. I have to die. That's it. I pulled away from their hug and ran out of the hospital onto the road. "Lucy no!" They screamed at me. I stood in the middle of the road and braced for the impact. I closed my eyes tight and flinched a little. It's just like when I argued with Kali. I looked on as a car rushed down the road. "KILL ME!" I screamed at it as the car screeched. I felt something hit me, hard, and before you know it I'm smack on the ground. Dead. Or not?......
