Read this chapter while listening to Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood
A week and a couple of days went by really quickly. I have a more passionate love for Link and I have a friend relationship with Rhett...
Thursday 8:50am.
I put my bag in my cubby and walked out to the bench again. I sat down. I pulled a note out of my pocket. It's from my dad before he died he was a author and a poet and he wrote a part of Sweater Weather my favourite song since I was little on a pice of paper for me a couple of hours before he died. It's pretty much the only thing I have left to remind me of dad. I read it over and over in my mind. I started crying a little. I saw Rhett and Link in the distance and they ran over to me. They sat on the bench a DM link hugged me. "What's the matter?" They both said. I wiped away my tears and said between more tears "o oh it's just I f found this n note my dad w wrote before he d d died" bursting into tears when I said died. Both boys hugged me. "Oh I'm so sorry I hope you will be ok Lucy May" Link said kissing my head. A small smile creeped onto my face as more tears fell. This bench is a mix of emotions bench. This is where me and Rhett and a link were happy and sad together and laughing. This is where our emotions are. The emotion bench. Yeah that's it's name. "Can you read the note?" Link said as my tears dried up. I nodded.
One love two mouths
One love one house
No shirt no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I really wanna tell you about
Because it's to cold woahhh
For you here
And now let me hold whoa
Both your hands in the holes in my sweaterI sang. A tear welled up in links eyes as he hugged me. Rhett just stared on in awe. "You are a better singer then Taylor swift!" Rhett said half yelling in shock. I blushed. "Well not really I just sing it all the time" I said as link let go of me. We all stared across the playground as a mix of emotions went through us. They always do on the emotion bench...
