Next Day"Hey, you!"
I open my eyes and pulled my sunglasses down. Winwin was standing right in front of me, blocking the sun from shining on me.
"Yeah?" I question, attempting to push him out of way.
Winwin stood his ground and said, "Don't you think it's a bit of a hazard for you to have yourself layout like that?"
I look down at myself. He was indeed right. My head was laying on the opposite end of the pool chair where my legs should be.
"What about it?" I smack his leg. "Now get out of my sun and shoo!"
Winwin held his arms up, trying to block more of the sun. "Not until you kiss me," he said, smirking.
I smile. "Kiss my ass, Winwin." I flipped him off then pushed my sunglasses back up.
"If you really want me to..."
Winwin starts leaning in so I quickly sat up. "You're so weird!" I shout.
"Finally you're up," Winwin groans before taking a seat next to me. "It's your turn to get in the pool and watch the kids."
I glance at the kids who were on the steps of the pool.
I had to beg and bribe Lu to come out to the pool and it was not one of my proudest moments. I just wanted him to enjoy something in the outdoors instead of being cooped up inside with me. Yesterday he spoke about how he felt about me so I thought this was the perfect way to keep my distance but also still be somewhat around him. At the house, I feel like it's so closed in for him that he's forced to be around me.
Plus, it really brings my mood down knowing he wants nothing to do with me. So I'm really trying to make this work out for both of us. It's only my third day of work and I'm struggling this bad?
Sundays like these make me wish I religious to have an excuse to leave.
I scratch behind my ear. "Oh... it's my turn?"
Winwin and I are both taking turns watching the kids at the pool. I also had to beg Winwin to do me this solid. I just want to keep my distance from Lu as much as possible for now.
"Munhee, I thought this was your job?" Winwin asked in a frustrated tone. He wipes off his sweat. "Why are we taking truths again?"
"Because of Lu... I don't want to bother him," I explain.
"Who cares about what Lu thinks, Munhee? You can't let a freaking thirteen-year-old get to you," he said, placing his hands on my shoulders. "He's naive and stupid."
"Don't say that about your brother," I said, glaring. "Anyways, just continue doing me this one solid... please?"
"Fine," Winwin agreed. "I'll continue but it will cost you a shoulder massage."
