Winwin POV
About Three Months LaterI clutched the handle of my mug as I blissfully watched families decorate their porch with spooky decorations like; pumpkins, gravestones, hanging ghosts, and even the flickering lights were scary to me. As you can see, Halloween is right around the corner.
Been a bit over a month since I left my parent's pool house and moved to my very own home with Munhee and Dohee. I used up all the money I had been saving up as a child for this three-bedroom home. Of course, I didn't have quite enough so I worked my ass off day and night for my father until I reached our money goal.
Yes, our money goal.
Munhee is my soon-to-be wife which means it's always going to be ours. After I proposed to her, we got the all family together as soon as we could and broke the news. They all kind of figured what the family meeting was about. I mean, even Munhee's parents attended.
Her parents had their doubts about us. We were only dating for a few weeks and in those few weeks, we managed to break up. Scared we wouldn't receive their blessing, I put my good looks and charms in motion and I prevailed.
Well, it wasn't just my look and sunshine personality that made them accept. They also said I had to take a hearing test once every two months to avoid another misunderstanding...
Honestly, I don't care about it too much. I'd take any test just so I can be with Munhee. As I've said many times before, Munhee changed my life for the better. Dohee changed my life for the better. So, yeah, I'll gladly take that damn hearing test.
The door creeks open and I lost my train of thought. I turn around and see a small, bright light coming from the crack of the door. I could hear some whispering as well. Oh, I see that this is. I turn my head back around and pretended I was typing something on my laptop.
"One... two... three! Happy birthday, daddy!" Munhee and Dohee shouted in sync as they barged into the room.
I covered my mouth. "For me?!" I ask. Dohee giggled as she hid behind Munhee. "Wow, thank you, my loves!"
"What do you say, Dohee?"
Dohee looked up at Munhee then at me and said, "You're welcome, daddy."
"Now give him hugs and kisses before he cries," Munhee said as she lightly pushed her my way. "I don't know why she's so shy today. She was like this at the store today."
"It's alright," I chuckle. "Her presence is enough for me."
"Then can you please help me with this cake?" she asked as she struggled to carry both the cake and gifts.
