Next Day"We were supposed to go pick up Dohee an hour ago. My sister has been waiting for us, Winwin."
"Sorry," Winwin apologized as he closed the front door. "My father had me do a training session for the job which lasted longer than I thought."
"I see... how was it?" I ask.
"Well," Winwin sighs. "It's somewhat like what I expected... hard, but I'll get used to it."
"I was gonna say, that's the spirit but you reek of no motivation."
"It's just new for me," he said.
"Well changing the subject... your mother dropped this off for you," I said, handing him a key and note.
Winwin walked towards me, grabbing the note and key from my hands. He proceeds to open the note before quietly reading it. His mouth suddenly expands, surprised at what he just read.
"No way..." he said.
"What?"
Winwin hands me back the note and said, "My parents bought us a car..."
"What?!"
I snatched the note from his hand. I quickly read it and it was no mistake... they really gave us a car.
"I guess we won't have to call a taxi anymore," Winwin said, nodding his head in delight.
I narrow my brows at Winwin. "You're not honestly thinking that we're gonna keep this car, right?"
"Uh, yeah," he said, confidently. "We need this car."
"But we shouldn't be relying on your parents. We need to get a car on our own, Winwin. We're adults with a child."
"I understand what you're saying but they're just trying to help us out, Munhee."
"Well I don't want their help," I said, folding my arms. "Return the key."
Winwin sighs. "Okay, I'll return the key after we pick Dohee up. Does that sound okay?"
"Fine, I'll go get the car seat then."
Winwin nods his head before walking out the front door. He seemed angry. I don't want to make him angry but I don't want his parents to make things easy for us. I want to live in reality.
