Next DayI was sitting on the couch reading off different recipes for today's breakfast when Winwin came running into the living room. His socks slid causing him to slip and fall onto the floor. I was going to help him but he had already gotten up. Winwin now stood in front of me, dropping to his knees.
What is happening right now?
"Munhee," Winwin grabbed my hands. "I am so sorry about yesterday! I don't know what came over me!" he exclaimed.
Oh, I see now. Winwin remembers what happened yesterday. He tried to do some freaky shit while he was drunk.
I push his hands away from mine and took a sip of my morning coffee. "So Mr. Drunk remembers?" I ask.
"Yes... I remember," Winwin said, nodding his head. He now lowered his head. "Can you forgive me?"
"Sure," I replied.
"Really?!" Winwin shot his hand up. "Yes!"
"But-"
"But?!" Winwin groans. "But what?"
"But you have to become friends with Chaeun again," I requested.
"That's so awkward though!" Winwin said, messing up his hair. "I had said my goodbyes and everything!"
I shrug. "Well, it's the only way I can forgive you."
Winwin sat down.
"I don't know, Munhee. I didn't just end things with her completely because I fell out. I also ended things because she's never liked me when we were a thing and was only with me for pity. I don't know if I can be around her again after all this," he explained.
"I'm not saying you shouldn't be sad or mad at Chaeun for that but realize why she did it. She did it because she cares about you. Maybe not in the way you wanted but she tried. You're important to her Winwin and she doesn't want to lose you."
Winwin paused for a moment. He looked very indecisive about what to do about the Chaeun situation. I know he still cares about her. They were friends before anything. That kind of feeling doesn't just go away.
"So you think Chaeun and I should be friends again?" Winwin questioned as he placed his hands on his hips. "Fine, I'll be friends with her again. I'll speak to her today."
"You will?" I sigh with relief. "She'll be really happy to hear this, Winwin."
"I mean why should I mess up my friendship of years just because I'm petty? I'd be stupid to let someone like that go," he said.
"Exactly," I agreed.
Suddenly May appears before us. What is she doing up so early?
"Hi, guys!" May waved at us.
