I point at him. "You're that guy! The one that came with his dad and yelled at me for the stupidest shit!" I shout, moving the stroller out of the way. "Are stalking me here too?!"
"No!" he shouts. "I'm sorry about him... I didn't know he was gonna yell at you or make false accusations."
"You're saying sorry but said nothing while he was saying that shit to me?"
He went on his knees. "I'm not gonna make any excuse. I just wanna sorry... I'm really sorry and I know that's not enough but I am," he apologized, putting his head down.
Everyone was watching us. I don't care if I look like a bad guy it's just that he sounds very regretful. I'm a sucker for apologetic guys.
"Well, you're in luck because I don't hold grudges on guys who wear glasses or funny weed necklaces. Plus... you seem sincere... so I'll forgive you... you can get up."
"Thank you!" He stood up and bowed. "The guilt has been killing me. I'm Kun," he introduced, sticking his hand out.
"Munhee," I said, shaking his hand. "Can I ask why you were staring at me through your balcony?"
"I just thought you were pretty..." Kun blushed. "I think you're the prettiest girl I've ever laid my eyes on," he confessed, avoiding indirect eye contact.
"That's so nice of you to say," I said, feeling proud of myself. "I actually almost got chosen to be in a beauty pageant when I was fifteen."
"That's so cool!" Kun exclaimed.
I actually kind of like this guy.
"Kun," I place my arm around him. "You're an alright guy."
"Thanks... that means a lot," Kun said, blushing again. He then turned to me. "Can I tell you something?"
"Go on."
"I think the stretch marks on your stomach are like your battle scars. The battle you dealt with for the birth of your child," Kun explains. "You do have a child... right? If you don't then I am so so so so-"
"I do have a child," I chuckled.
Kun sighed with relief. "Thank goodness..."
I remove my arm off his shoulder. "About your interpretation, I've never thought of it like that. I think that's a good way to put it..." I look down at my stomach then back at him. "Thanks."
Kun scratched the back of his ear and said, "Oh, it was no problem..."
"I have to head home now," I point down at May. "She's getting tired."
