Munhee POV
An Hour Ago"Pick whatever you like Dohee because grandma just sent over my last paycheck ~" I sung as I strolled through the store. "It can be anything... maybe even candy."
Dohee dropped her bottle when she heard the word candy. I stopped the cart to pick it up from the floor. Guess to the candy aisle it is. Once we got there she started shouting, "Candy!" Over and over again.
I grabbed some fruit snacks and tossed them to the back of the cart. "What else?" I asked.
"Cookie!"
"Cookie?" I repeated, "Great choice."
"Yay!"
I stroll over to where the cookies were and found the granola kind. I pick them up from the shelf and examined them.
"Seems healthy enough..."
"Actually," Someone taps on my shoulder. "It's better if you make them yourself. You don't want hard cookies like that for your two-year-old daughter. I assume she's two."
I turn around to see a beautiful lady around my age.
"Yes, she's two," I replied, "and I guess you're right about buying these cookies."I put the cookies back on the shelf.
"I have an awesome recipe. Do you want me to send it to you?"
"Okay," I pull out my phone. "My number is xxx-xxx-XXXX."
She dials in my number. It takes about three minutes before she said, "And sent." She puts her phone away then points to my phone once I received her message. "This recipe also tastes good with some peanut butter."
I scratch behind my ear. "Thanks, I appreciate this..."
"Mimi is my name. Nice to meet you."
"I as well," I bow to her. "So Mimi is your name? That sounds so cute."
"It's a Chinese nickname that my husband gave me," Mimi explained. "It's cute but I don't think it fits my look..."
"Well I think it does," I said, smiling. "I don't have a nickname myself besides MunMun which is short for Munhee. It's a nickname given to me by a guy I dated for a short period."
Mimi smiled back at me. "Yours is cute too. It fits you."
"I think I like you," I said, jokingly as I placed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
