"Is this it, The keepers place?"
"Let's find out." The small party inched closer to the oddly shaped building.
"Stay together."
"Well, we are on a narrow, elevated road, so, I'm not seeing too many other options." Artemis sighed, "Can you two stop bickering and focus?" as they came to the door Cass grabbed for her blade,
"It's too quiet, I don't like it." A roar, similar to the one from the Forest of no Return echoed along the mountain side.
"What was that?!"
"My last ounce of faith in you, Strongbow." Artemis groaned out as she looked up at the gigantic door. Rapunzel barely knocked on the thing and it opened,
"Uh, hello?" Narrowing her eyes to see through the dust, Artemis made out the shape of a person walking towards them.
"Uh, Hi. My name is Rapunzel."
"Um, and I'm Lance." Cass shushed the man, "And I am looking for the—"
"Keeper of the spire? Look no further. I am the keeper!" Rolling her eyes, Artemis distracted herself with a moth that flew past.
"Swallowed a moth, again. Let me start over." The short woman made quick work of getting close, "I am the keeper of the Spire, but you can call me Calliope." Everyone shared a look of confusion, "Not what I expected, but...okay."
Once inside the group spready out, taking in the different Artifacts littering the room. "So, what can the keeper do for you?"
"Actually, you see, I heard you might be able to help me."
"As keeper of the spire, I have been entrusted wardship over the spire's artifacts." Calliope took something from lance and put it back where it belonged, "It is my sworn duty to prevent these items from falling into the wrong hands and to protect them from the outside world. Or in some cases, protect the outside world from them. So, I'm kind of prestigious."
"Oh good...she's annoying AND a narcissist...wonderful." Artemis narrowed her eyes at the short ginger woman.
"Oh, wow...that is impressive. So, I heard you could help me get the third piece of a scroll."
"Which scroll? There's the scroll of Danberry, the Pavell scroll, The scroll of Tangire, which isn't technically a scroll more of a brochure."
"Ooh, this one." She fished the scroll pieces from her Satchel, "Oh ho ho, that's in the spire's vault..."
"Great, so where is the Spire's vault?"
"Spire."
"Excuse me?"
"It's pronounced spire, it comes from Spira. It's latin, which Is another language that I actually speak."
"Oh, yeah, got it."
"Sicut non potest hoc proficitis?" All eyes turned to the young teen, "Artemis did you just...?"
"How do you know Latin? Did any of you know she could do that?" The blonde shrugged, rolling her eyes. "Read a book, Eugene. They're wonderful and full of knowledge." She smirked, tapping her head with her finger.
"You're confined to the Caravan after this, young lady." Rolling her eyes again she walked past him to look at something, "You're not my dad, Eugene."

"This is the library. And yes, I've read all of these books, if you're wondering. I just have to grab the vault's map. The Spire's vault holds hundreds of the rarest, most abstruse artifacts from all over the globe. Ooh, I noticed you were eying my linking rings, I am something of a master illusionist!"
