Chapter 26

Akai's POV

No school today.

I laid on my bed and let out a sigh.

Should I confess? Or no? What if he doesn't like me!

I buried my face in my pillow.

C'mon Akai! Think! What should you do?

I sat up and hugged my pillow.

What would happen if I told him?

(Akai's mind:)

"J-Joker, I l-like you!"

Joker gave me a cold stare. "I don't"

"B-but-"

Joker snickered "Why would I like someone by the likes of you? You're annoying, ugly, and you smell. I don't even want to see you!"

I tried to hold his arm, but he refused. He turned around and walked away. I fell on the ground, crying.

(End of thought)

"NOOO!!!" I screamed, which caused Acrux to wake up.

"Sorry, Acrux"

"Hosshi" he fell back asleep

He wouldn't possibly do that to me right? Right?

I laid down for a second to think.

Then I jolted up.

"I'll try to woo him first! Mark my words, Joker! I will make you fall in love with me!" I said as I raised my fist to the sky.

(The next day)

Joker's POV

"Hi Jack! I made you some food, hope you like it" Akai handed me a container with some curry in it. I accepted it

"Thanks. You made this?"

Can he even cook?

"Well, yeah"

The bell rang and we went to class.

Why did he give me this? It's not my birthday, or maybe....

Today's a special day for him!

But, what's so special about today?

I'll just have to give him something too, I mean, he did put effort into the dish.

I snapped out of my thoughts and payed attention to class.

Akai's POV

I hope he likes the curry, I almost burned down my apartment trying to make it through watching a tutorial video.
