You sat with Stiles and Malia as you saw Theo approach. The sun was rising and if it had been a horror movie, this would have been the bit where there would be a break. The monster can't go out in the sun. Something like that. But Theo was swaggering up the driveway. Up to the open door where the wolfsbane was laid out.
"There you are!" Theo said cheerfully as if the two of you had crossed paths and missed meeting up.
"Leave us alone." Stiles warned, hand reaching to the baseball bat that was on the step next to him.
"I'm not here for you Stilinski."
"We know why you're here and none of us care." Malia snapped, her arm around your shoulders.
"You belong to me and you need to accept it." Theo growled out, looking at you now.
"I do not belong to you!" You shouted back.
"I hate to point out but the whole werewolf mate thing proves you wrong." Theo muttered as he looked cocky, glancing around as he stepped into the hallway.
"I thought having a mate was supposed to make them nicer." You said quietly.
"He isn't even a real werewolf!" Stiles objected. Malia growled a little at Stiles but turned her attention back to Theo who was leaning against the wall at the bottom of the steps.
"I can wait." He said with a smile.
