Mated Witch (Part Two)

"Do we know where she was taken?" Scott asked again.

"Stiles is with his dad trying to find out now. Your mom is going over there. Stiles and Parrish will let us know as soon as they do." Lydia said quickly.

"That's too long!"

"Scott I know she's still alive. Derek says Theo will get sick if she's dead. These are werewolf hunters and she isn't a werewolf. That's the only thing we can think about right now ok. Malia and Kira are trying to figure out the scents as we speak. We'll find her."

Scott relaxed as Lydia spoke and nodded. Liam and Mason exchanged worried looks, glancing in unison to Theo who was sat on the sofa staring at his hands.

After reviewing the maps of Beacon Hills for an hour they were joined by Peter, who claimed he didn't care for Scott but he liked the witch so he could spare some time. Though Deek commented later that he had been phoning him every hour since you'd gone missing for an update.

Derek had been joined by Chris Argent who was armed and ready to go at a moment's notice. Satomi had informed Derek that they would know the minute that you stepped into their territory and Scott felt relieved that he had so many people on his side.

"They can't keep her for long. We'll find her." He kept saying to himself. When Melissa came home she hugged him and started sorting through the various magical medical supplies she'd hoarded over the years, just in case anyone got injured.

"We need to move now." Theo said suddenly. He hasn't spoken for hours and his sudden declaration was so earnest that Argent petted his shoulder and agreed.

"We found where she is!" Stiles shouted as he all but fell through the door.

"We found the building they took the ambulance into." His dad added as he followed through. "Parish has already gone to see if it's still there. We should get going too." He said quickly. He looked as if he'd tried to convince Stiles to sit this one out and lost.

"We need to go." Theo said to Stiles who sighed.

"We can't go in yet. There are too many there."

"I know. But she's in pain. I need to go in."

"What's it like? Having a mating pair? I mean can you hear her thoughts, you feel her pain right? Can anything override that weird instinct you keep going on about?" Stiles asked curiously.

"I don't know how it feels. It just feels right. If she was a wolf I could hear her thoughts but she's a witch... I can't. I can't feel her pain. I just know she's been hurt. Derek says nothing will override the bond. Peter says if you're scared enough it could break you or the bond."

Stiles hummed. He hadn't honestly expected Theo to answer. Normally he'd get a grunt of acknowledgement. Keeping an eye out on Lydia's car, he saw her flash her torch to signal they were going in. "Ok we can go now." Stiles turned to see Theo had already gone and was now running full speed at the building. "Great, that's not going to go badly."

"We said to wait!" Scott hissed as the group carefully crept into the building.

"Yes well someone forgot to tell me that having a mate removes self control from werewolves!" Stiles hissed back, gesturing to the large Theo sized hole in the metal garage door they were now using as a doorway.

There was a crackling sound which made Kira pause and glance at Scott before whispering something to Derek. "You should stay here and make sure we'll be able to get out with her." Derek advised.

"Why?" Scott asked quickly.

"Electricity. She isn't one of us... it hurts humans differently." Derek tried to explain simply. Scott huffed and ran forwards, stopping when he saw Theo stood in front of a partly opened door.

"Theo?"

"I didn't fail."

"Theo?" Scott said again, shaking him a little when he saw his eyes glazed over with fear and tears pricking the corners of his eyes.

"Lightning... I..." Theo said again. Scott frowned, unsure when he was saying.

"Stay here. I'll need your help once I grab (Y/N)!" Scott said quickly. The mention of your name softened Theo's eyes and he nodded as if he'd just realised Scott was there to save you too. By the time Scott had emerged with you Theo was ordering people around. The Sheriff had called as many deputies he could and even called for back up from the next town over when he fell short.

You'd had to stay in the hospital overnight and when you woke Theo was in a chair next to you holding your hand. Scott was laying on another chair. Malia was sprawled on the floor while Stiles and Lydia were crammed in a chair together under Derek's leather jacket.

"You're awake!" Derek said from the corner. He smiled when you nodded. "Thanks to you. Stiles' dad arrested a few hundred hunters. We saved countless supernatural people. They're all being taken home."

"You guys did that?"

"You did too. Satomi says you should be proud of surviving."

"But I'm the reason they were here." Derek shrugged at your comment and went outside to tell Melissa you were awake. You decided he was still not good at giving pep talks and rolled over, seeing Theo was awake now.

"I'm glad you're ok. Scott saved you."

"You all saved me. Also a bunch of other people." You said quietly with a smile. He grinned and kissed your forehead before your mother burst in to hug you and woke everyone else up.
