Thirty minutes before the explosion:

"I feel like you've a very terrible idea in mind."

Taeyong leaned against the locker next to mine as if he owned it.

"You're not wrong," i admitted, chucking the heavy books i need for my next lesson into my bag. "Are you going to stop me from doing it?"

"Do you want me to?" he arched his perfectly sculpted brows delicately.

I hesitated.

"What are your plans?" he changed his question, smiling lightly.

"To avenge Yoongi and Jimin," i murmured quietly, scanning our surroundings. "And to remind Kim Taehyung what comes with hurting one of the Kim Clan's."

The boy looked thoughtfully, "I'm still a little confused about why Yoongi was attacked, honestly."

The final warning bell rang and the last of strays and loners left the corridor.

"Taehyung fucked up," My fingers curled. "He placed a dying Jimin in the wrong street."

Taeyong seemed to have grown even more confused at that. "What?"

"Yoongi and I live in streets that are opposite directions," I said grimly, "Remember the traffic light where you usually take a left to my house? His house is to the right."

Taeyong's lips parted.

"The marks on Jimin's body weren't all equally new. Some looked like they'd been made an hour or two before the others were. I think- Just a personal guess- that Jimin was tortured for a period of time before Yoongi came into the scene. And chances are, there was a hostage involved, hence Jimin hadn't dared to do anything particularly offensive to Taehyung. My best guess is that the hostage is Sana."

We entered the empty basketball court, both making an unspoken agreement to skip the next class. Not a loss for me. I had Physics next and I hate that subject.

"Sana and Hyunjin appeared at my doorstep in the wee hours of the morning, so I'm assuming Jimin had somehow managed to distract Taehyung away from them for long enough," I paused. "He must have paid dearly for that. He was most probably knocked out by Taehyung or he'd fainted. Either ways, Jimin must have seemed dead enough in Taehyung's opinion. Dead enough to capture my attention if i'd walked past him on my way home. Jimin was a bait."

"But this was where Taehyung screwed up. Instead of putting Jimin in the street leading up to my house, he'd placed him in the one leading to Yoongi's," I murmured. "Poor Yoongi was probably just trying to do some good deeds on his way home. Too bad he got warped up in this rubbish. Taehyung was just applying standard protocol of killing all possible witnesses. Unfortunately, his knife skills are trash. Both Jimin and Yoongi managed to make it."
