"Soyeon noona!"

My heart warmed and a big smile gravitated across my face.

"Yeah, yeah, treat me like i'm invisible, won't you?" Mark said irritatedly as Jaemin and Jungkook ran down from the bleachers to hug me.

"We're already doing it, hyung," Jaemin rolled his eyes at the boy beside me.

"Thanks for the confirmation, Nana. I am not hurt at all. Not a single bit," Mark scoffed.

Jaemin shot a finger heart at the older boy and Jungkook shyly greeted him.

Both of the younger boys disappeared back to their friend group, discussing animatedly about some new multi-player game that they both wanted to try out but didn't have the finances to purchase.

The junior team had slowly grew on us seniors as the weeks few by. The stupid things all of us did together were starting to be the highlights of our shared training sessions.

Jaemin had taken Jungkook under his social wing and the latter grew a lot more confident, but he was still intimidated by some of the seniors. For a prime example? Taeyong. Jungkook practically quakes under his gaze. Something Taeyong had found a little way too amusing.
Overall, the mentor-mentee pairings were pretty effective. Both sides got along pretty well with each other and it wasn't all that difficult teaching them new tricks and skills, but there were always exceptions in life and quite frankly, I wouldn't say I didn't see this one coming. Mark and Donghyuck were still on crappy terms, despite all the team bonding activities and mentor-mentee heart to hearts talks. At first, I was pretty confident that Mark could work things out with the feisty younger boy, but now? I wasn't as sure anymore. They argued aggressively over the smallest of issues and it wasn't the friendly type of banter. They really did seem to want to tear each other apart. Their last fight ended up being physical and landed both parties in the Nurse's Office and got me into steaming hot soup with Coach.

"Try to be nice to Hyuck today, Lee," I narrowed my eyes at my brunette friend, "I don't want Coach barking at my tail again."

Mark ran a hand through his hair, "I'll try my best. No promises, though. He's one annoying asshat."

I poked his muscular biceps lightly, "You managed through Nakamoto! How is this even consider an issue?"

He chuckled dryly and ruffled my dark hair, "Is this prep talk, Cap? Because it sucks."

I rolled my eyes and dumped my bag onto the bleachers, turning to face the club, "OK guys, let's get to work. The usual drill for everyone. Three extra laps for Mark."

The Court burst into excited cheers and Mark's jaw dropped. His eyes darkened and narrowed into slits.

"Seriously?" the boy shouted miserably, "I'm so going to report you for abuse of authority. Watch out, Kim."
