Just like in all the cliché overrated K-Dramas, there's always a nasty little dirty cop working for the mafia in the police team.

And Kim Chungha was exactly that.

The twenty-six year old woman was a Regional Investigation Officer based in Gangnam-gu, which was the core center of the Kim Clan's operations until rather recently. She wasn't particularly impressive portfolio-wise, nor was she any what interesting or shady, so she blended in extremely well with the rest of her team, much to the Clan's benefit. Chungha may not have been an extremely high ranking officer, but she was well-ranked enough to get her hands on any paper the Kim Clan needed and rid of any crime they were accused of if they were being held in Gangnam-gu, which was extremely helpful since the bunch- especially the young heir- seemed to attract danger and trouble just by breathing.

Talking about the young heir-

"Chungha unnie, will you please do me a favor?"

The said girl sighed, adjusting her Bluetooth earpiece.

"I don't know, will you please pass Chemistry?" the female police officer said wryly, tightening her grip on the card board box she was carrying. "What did you do this time, Yeon-ie?"

"Nothing!" the response came a little too suspiciously quick.

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" Chungha said mildly.

"I need you to check on someone's profile for me," the younger girl changed the topic.

"Ooh, drop the name. New boyfriend?"

"His name is Dong Sicheng and no, he's not my boyfriend." Soyeon sounded highly amused. "You've too much faith in me."

"There's no 'too much' when it comes to faith in you. You've got so much potential," the older girl sighed like an upset mother. "But you're just plainly not reaching it. It's so annoying." She lets out a huff before returning to business. "What do you want to know about your boy?"

She poked her head into the Profile Library. It was entirely empty today, thankfully. Having to deal with her colleagues' questioning stares and suspicious questions were huge bothers.

Dropping her box onto the floor next to the entrance, Chungha headed straight to the section for minors, skimped her fingers down the chronological series. Since Soyeon was only calling now, the boy's case must have been recent, the older girl figured. She dragged out the heavy folder containing the district's most recent cases, flipping through it's weathered and yellowing pages.

"Everything. What he's being charged for, what evidences the police have on his cases, where the he's being held at-"

Ah! Here it was. The boy in the picture was dazzling, even with the distasteful expression on his face. Just as expected from the men of Soyeon's taste, the female police officer mused internally. However, it was not his perfectly sculpted face that nearly made her drop the heavy file, but the long list of charge accusation under his profile and the crime scene photos attached to them.
