"This is ridiculous. For the sake of everybody, tell me it's not true, please."
Mark slammed my locker door close dramatically, leaning against it like some bigshot.
"Huh, what?" I said in bewilderment, poking his arm to get him to move.
Mark's eyes bulged, "So it's true? You're dating Sicheng?"
He straightened himself so quickly that I barely managed to jump of his way into safety.
"No! What?" I cracked up, "Are you even hearing yourself? Sicheng would never date me. That bitch thinks he's better than everyone and he's not necessarily wrong."
I internally shuddered. I can't believe I complimented a boy, what would Irene unnie think of me now?
"Man, Jaemin had me bamboozled," Mark lets out a sigh of relief.
"You're boo-boo the fool," I snickered, "I'd have told you if I got into anything. We're best bros, remember?"
"Yeah yeah. 'Best bros', you say, as you proceed to ditch me for your hoes. Screw off," he scoffed, "Also, i'm not just a fool anymore, i've upgraded to becoming the whole bloody circus."
"That's great! Congratulations," I nodded solemnly.
His face twisted and snort escaped his lips, "I seriously can't stand you. Can you just-"
He made a frustrated jazz hands motion.
"Die?" I supplied in helpfully, "Fat hope, loser."
The bell chimed, signalling that it was the students' final warning to get to class.
"Your first class is Chem, isn't it?"
"Yeah, why?" I narrowed my eyes as he nods wistfully.
"If I head over to wish Ms Yoon a very good morning, do you think i'd get brownie points for good manners?"
"Of course. I think she'd have a fantastic morning after that well-wishing too," I sniggered, "Let's go, my man."
Looping an arm around each other, we childishly skipped down the halls and vanished into the weary masses.
"Didn't take you to be a girlfriend-stealer, Mark," Ms Yoon, my Chemistry teacher, commented when we entered the classroom.
