Prompt: Write a story, scene, or poem that uses the abecedarian format. Start with the letter A, or get creative and start anywhere in the alphabet you wish.
Response:
Zones and zones of meaningless dreams!Yonder over ponder, sleeping just to see him.
Xerox himself, one for her, one for me?
Will he love me though as he loved her?
Vain is what I think I'll end up with.
Undo the time when I first saw him.
To maybe be free from my suffering.
Secure my heart, so it'll never break again,
Render it bleak, so it'll not see what's real.
Quality over quantity, of painful suffering,
Punish myself, to hide the real pain.
Only now I know he may truly set me free.
Never will he see what love I have for him,
May he always be happy, with that girl than me.
Love, seems like a silly word to throw at him from me.
Knowing his name has been my undoing,
Just to know it, maybe I'll be happy-er.
I know I'll never be good enough for him,
He will never love me as I am.
Girl, whom he loves, makes him happy,
Far beyond from what I can be to him.
Every time I see him, he just makes my day better.
Destroyed is me, when I remember he loves someone else.
Can't blame him, if he doesn't even see me.
Bury my feelings, I really wish I could do.
A nameless man, deserves someone better than me.
