Bill Murray
Story:
"Hey Harry." Frank spoke after an hour of silence.
"What now Frank?" Said Harry, clearly irritated. He'd been hearing Frank pitch random movie ideas that didn't seem to click in Harry's head. He only kept Frank after that one big hit he pitched two years ago because he brought in the big moolah. Harry thought that Frank will be his way from rags to riches, but it's been two years since he's heard a good pitch from Frank.
"How about this... Imagine, Bill Murray, in an extraordinary day..." Frank started but Harry immediately cut him off, almost instantaneously.
"That's bullcrap Frank, and you know it." Harry immediately shrugs Frank's idea down into the garbage can for the 7th time today. It was a new record for Frank to give so many ideas in a day.
"Hold your horses Harry, I'm not done." Frank quickly retorted.
Harry was startled. He'd never seen Frank – in his two years working with him – stand up to him like that. Harry felt that Frank had something in mind that he really wanted to say to Harry. As he put down the sports section of the news paper, he intently listened to what Frank had to say.
"Fine." Harry said in defeat.
"It's extraordinary because there's a town celebration on that day but, he gets to wake up on the very same day over and over and over again." There was something different in Frank's voice this time around, Harry noticed that immediately. There was more passion than in the previous ones.
"Go on." Harry said, mildly intrigued now. He sat up straight from his chair and leaned in. Frank had gotten Harry right where he wanted him.
"You see Harry, I want the viewers to know that, if someone had the power to live forever, how would they live it? Would his lifestyle change overtime? His perspectives? Attitude? And all those bullcrap feelings that people have." In the end Frank left Harry nodding at his will. Harry thought that this was the time yet again, after some careful analysis on Frank's pitch, he knew. This was the one.
"I like it Frank. Let's do it. I have one question though." Harry said as he stood up and went to the telephone.
"What's that Harry?" Frank asked, confused.
"Why Bill Murray? There's tons of actors out there that'll be perfect for the role. It's not like you were limited with people to cast. Right? Frank?" Harry said while he dialled the writers to start writing the scenes.
"Uhm." Frank said shyly as he fiddled with his fingers on his keyboard to quickly close the prompt that he saw on this random website. "Yeah?" He then gave an awkward laugh.
